I don't date women. If we're talking about May-December romances generally, then I wouldn't mind. I find plenty of guys old enough to be my father attractive. I generally prefer older men, though I'm only 20 so "older" isn't really that old.

I really don't get why cougars are such a big deal.

No I don't care for them. 21

Maybe when I reach that age I will feel different. The ones that really scare me are the ones who tanned so much when they were young that their skin is now like old wrinkled leather.

20, and sickened.

What kind of woman goes around looking for younger men? A filthy, dishonorable one, THAT's what.

I'll stick to a REAL relationship with a woman MY age.

[Insert long, lame story on how this question came up here]

So Escapists, I come to you with a survey question of sorts. Who out there has a preference for cougars, and how old are you?

To clear things up for those who might not be completely sure, a cougar is a woman of about age 35 and older who goes 'on the prowl' for younger men.

To add my own input, I don't really care for 'em, though age wouldn't be much of a factor in me finding a mate, and I'm 17.
You have no idea how skeptically I'm currently looking at the computer. Witheringly skeptical. Disbelief coming out of my ears.

Ooh, please do describe, and in vivid detail, how skeptically you're staring at your computer. I'm quite interested.

Also, you've neglected to answer the question.

Not just at you, at the issue in general, as though being an old skank was empowering.

But seriously, dead-eyed, cocked-necked, flattened-eyebrowed skepticity.

..if it's the one in that picture, I'd say hell no.

So yeah, cougars kinda creep me out. Especially because if it were older men pursuing younger girls someone would call the cops. No different for women.

I always try going with someone 2 years within my age, no more. But, ofcourse, I'm still in high school.

That's just leaving out the fact said woman would be driving up to me in a black car and ask me for a good time, I'd run the fuck away. Anyone that would say yes should consider their personal safety, if you find girls riding up to you in a car asking you for a good time a good idea.
Heh, if it was the one in the picture I'd say the same, but I've found the problem there. You're in high school so it's not really the same for you as Cougars are known to go for males in the 18-25 age bracket, rather than the "Oh hey there, what's your name? 7 Years?" age bracket.

If thats a cougar i'm the king of Canada

It would seem you missed the 'quote' button.

You're reading too much into the question. I simply asked if anyone here liked cougars, not the reason why a cougar is a cougar.

Ahh, I see... so basically your avatar, but cocked slightly.

No, I just didn't want to quote you.

And don't take it personally, I'm just sick of the whole "cougar" craze (Ha! Alliteration!)

I see... I'll continue to quote you, though.

It's not something I'd take personally at all. I simply wanted to see who liked cougars. If you'd read the long, lame story of which I didn't actually post, you'd understand completely.

Asking a forum full of nerds with mild to severe social issues what their opinion is on anything sexual is never going to give an actual representation of the norm.

OT: I don't mind cougars, for the most part. There are two brands that I see, however: the ones that are full of gross plastic surgery, wearing lulu lemons and throwing back martinis faster than an actual cougar can hunt prey; and the 30-40 something mother-type, that's just looking for a little fun away from her family (Tina Fey archetype).

I'm definitely all-over the second option, if it comes up. Then again I'm a pretty openly sexual guy.

Of course, but this works just as well as anything else. I'm sure not absolutely everyone here is solely a nerd. It works as the easiest possible survey I can make.
