Silly Princess, didn't you remember? Twilight doesn't care about the rules of Vampire lore. Why? Because Stephanie Meyer has money.Princess Tzelda said:another point to bring up about Edward, he gets Bella pregnant right? how is that possible if his body is frozen in time? He should be well past the point of sterility and with the obvious lack of blood flow he shouldn't even be able to get it up much less get her pregnant.
The writer stated that vampire venom [which is what turns people] act as the body needed liquid such as semen/blood.Princess Tzelda said:another point to bring up about Edward, he gets Bella pregnant right? how is that possible if his body is frozen in time? Hm. Either he's incapable of being changed by all his experiences, which would make him a very strange person psychologically, or the hundred years of living he's gone through will still affect him as a person. So he can't ever be really like a normal 17-year-old.Dags90 said:Actually no, you're wrong.Lionsfan said:Yeah it is pretty creepy. I mean physically he may be a 17/18 year old, but mentally he's still 100-something years old, and still going to HS to find girls
It's stated in the books that vampires don't mentally age after they've changed. So mentally he's still a teenager, with all the physical neuropyschological baggage of being 17 and not having a fully developed brain.
He's not a normal 17-year-old. If you haven't been keeping up, he's a vampire. Just because his brain is frozen at 17 doesn't mean he doesn't or can't draw from his decades of experiences. People who are mentally handicapped and stuck at whatever age level do it all the time.Queen Michael said:Hm. Unless you're like me, saying "at her age it's called ephebophilia," I'm curious about why it's technically not pedophilia.Zachary Amaranth said:He's DEFINITELY a creep, in more than one way.
Pedophile? Technically no.
That really depends on your definition of "creep". I mean, if you include stuff like "literal walking corpse", "main diet is THE LIVING", "stalker", "overprotective", and "sneaks into your room and watches you sleep at night", then yeah, I suppose you'll be correct.Zachary Amaranth said:He's DEFINITELY a creep, in more than one way.
