for all those unfamilliar heroes is a tv show about ordinary people with super powers.

now thats out of the way.

could they do a heroes game and what kind of game would it be?

i say it yes, mabey an mmo or free roaming game would be pretty cool. you know, character creation and the like, i wouldn't want to be the people from the tv series or based on the storyline for the tv series. i dont know they're just my thoughts. any other ideas.

I voted no.
I just don't think it is possible to balance out all the different abilities without severely restricting them in number and power.

They probably shouldn't... but they probably will. After all, there've already been Lost, 24, Grey's Anatomy, CSI and Law and Order games. And none of them were particularly well received.

Yeah it could work. But remember, apart from Peter and Sylar there are very few characters that have more than one ability. So pretty limited gameplay if you don't play as one of those two.

they just would have to use characters who aren't all powerful
Ando would make for a great video game
a mix between shooting and powers
and would make for a great plot mover with the supercharging

see this is why i said character creation and stuff, that way you wouldn't be restricted. also theres a greys anatomy game. weird.

As great as Heroes is, I don't think it would work as a game. there isn't all that much action really, and Heroes is all about the pacing, which I doubt that they could pull off.

i think there could be a hereos game, but i dont think there should because a lot of the powers wouldnt transfer well to a video game, you'd be stuck playing the charcters who have powers more suited for a video game e.g El's lightning. I cant imagine Parkman making a good charecter, saying that i'd love to play as HRG

You gave me a great idea. Make a Heroes game, but make it set a few years before the tv series, just HRG bagging and tagging. I reckon that could be pretty fun.

loving the idea, the flaw i have is who would serve as the nameless minions you have to fight. It couldnt be just constantly fighting superpowered people. Each one would make a pretty cool boss though, each being fairly unique

There was going to be, but as Ultimathechosen said above, it has now been scrapped (most likely).

Back when I first heard of the game, I was quite interested, but given the plummeting quality of the TV series these days, I'd say it's best that there isn't a Heroes game.

No, there is too much time without using the powers. They arent superheroes, they are heroes. To me there is a difference.

I'm pretty sure and equivalent of a Heroes game was made; it's called "City of Heroes". It's an open world MMO where you design a character and their superpowers.

I like the idea of the bagging and tagging part, possibly have it like shadow of the colossus where you only fight bosses and each boss is a different power that you'll have to use your cunning and wit to defeat. I cant see any game where you get to play as one of the people with abilities going well purely because it wouldnt translate well without horribly nerfing all the powers, like putting a time limit on hiros freeze time.
