No. They would be biased against cooking anything with meat, and then what use would they be?

Also, they tend to be horribly obnoxious about WHY they're vegetarian, and bug the hell out of people with that "meat is murder" bullshit.
actually, i know a lot of vegetarians who avoid meat because it's unhealthy. i personally can't digest meat, but i'll still cook it for my family or my boyfriend, as long as there's a vegetarian option for me.

As long as they're tolerant of me, I'm tolerant of them.

I won't force steak on them if they don't force tofu on me.

I'll love anyone that has a pulse and doesn't look like a monster, even if they are weird and don't eat meat... Yeah I'm lonely.

love them as a person? yes. Have a meaningful relationship? not likely, because i would spare no expense, and take every opportunity to convince them that avoiding meat is WRONG

Being honest, I would never enter into a relationship with a vegetarian/vegan, especially if their reasoning is based on principles of meat is murder and not just because it makes them ill.

The polar opposites of my principles vs theirs, even with something as relatively minor as what we chose to eat, will more likely than not mean we have differances regarding much bigger things which would mean the relationship wouldn't work out. Doesn't help that I'm an asshole of course.

I don't understand why people are saying they would either give up meat or change their diets to suit their partners vegie lifestyle. Perhaps I'm just too stubborn or self involved but I wouldn't change a thing to make someone else happy (been there, done that, shit goes sour eventually anyway so now if they aren't happy with things as they are then they can move along to someone a little more malleable) At most, I'd split the fridge and say "you cook your meals, I'll cook mine, you take one half of the fridge, I'll take the other, I'm still buying real milk, I won't be eating tofu or quorn..." and so on and so on, and really, what kind or relationship is that?

As long as their reasoning as to why they avoided meat was valid I wouldn't have a problem.

For example, if they were simply against eating meat because they didn't want to kill animals then it wouldn't out. Humans have been eating meat for a very long time, its a natural part of the food chain. If they were against animal cruelty then I would be fine with it, although I would suggest eating free range meat. If they had a more political reason (my friend is against how the meat industry works for example), a health reason or something along those lines I would be fine with it.

I don't think I would give up eating meat completely though, but I'd be happy to eat less around her.

I'm currently loving a vego, she does it not because of animal cruelty or any of that just she went "off it".
So all is well, but gets VERY frustrating when trying to cook a romantic dinner for my other half, or any dinner at all.

I wouldn't care. Just so long as she doesn't try and force me to eat only vegetarian. I love my veggies but I love my bacon more!

I currently have a crush on a vegatarian, who is right now a very good friend of mine. I honestly have no idea why anyone couldn't love someone of opposing tastes.
