Of course I could. What someone eats has no bearing on them in anything important, so why should it make me love them less? Or more, for that matter? I eat meat, and I could happily date a vegetarian, or even a vegan. I'd simply make sure to be more careful when it comes to cooking for them, and try not to eat meat in their presence, which isn't difficult for me since I tend to mostly eat bread, rice and pasta dishes anyway (I have a lot of carbs and starch in my diet :p). Of course, I wouldn't be too happy if they tried to convert me to vegetarianism, so if it was a deal-breaker for them then tough luck, I'm not changing myself like that for someone. I'd be happy to change some things about me for a relationship, but overall I want someone who likes me for me, so yeah...

I am a vegetarian. And I have no problem with kissing my roomie after a meal of meat. I just dont eat it myself. Part of being a vegetarian is having to accept that other people eat meat. And I dont mind them at all. Nor kissing them.

Oh the question was could I "LOVE" the vegetarian not "LIVE as" a vegetarian ;P. My bad.

Anyway as long as she doesn't ram that vegetarian "eating animals is bad" mumbo jumbo down my throat I won't have anything against.

It's the vegans I can't stand. Also, it's usually the other and more legitimate character flaws, like being a hipster, that are dealbreakers.

No, obviously not. Everyone knows that vegetarians are less then human, and I obviously couldn't love someone who's views differed from mine in any way.

I swear to GOD if someone quotes me telling me what a horrible person I am, I'm going to burn down an orphanage.

You might as well ask if I could live with someone who only eats soups. The answer would still be yes. People have their preferences when it comes to food. As long as they don't try to shove their personal philosophy down my throat, or go off on some rant about how awful they think I am for eating meat, we can get along just fine.

I'm Vegetarian, my wife is a meat eater, she loves a good steak.

The only problem we have ever had is finding a restaurant we can both eat at, which eventually we build up a list of local places with a good selection for us both and then even thats a non issue.

So long as she understands that made a life decision to be omnivorous and doesn't try to impose on my beliefs, I don't see why not.

My philosophy is that I really hate animals and I think not eating meat is the best way to deprive them of a meaningful death. They are going to be killed one way or the other and by you eating them you are completing the natural food chain. I refuse to take part in anything that gives their wretched little lives any form of meaning or purpose.

Also... fuck the whales.

But...I am a vegetarian. ;~;

Seriously though, why would a person's diet make me not love them?

I can understand if it's some crazy diet consisting of only disgusting foods, but just being vegetarian or not is reason enough to not love someone?
i guess the question is would you kiss someone right after they ate a cheesburger...and if yes....HI my name is john...i like video games ;)

I voted "no".
I know Im a major asshole for thinking so, but every time I think about vegetarians and their reasons (except "I dont like the taste" and some other harmless things, Im really fine with that) the little voice in my head starts to scream due to all the stupidity and hypocricy. I dont really like to be together with someone who causes that >_>
Vegetarians can live however they want, just dont expect me to accept their beliefs.

I'm vegetarian, and I've been with veggies and non-veggies. Makes no difference to me. I can understand some one wanting you to brush your teeth because of a breath issue, or if they have a major aversion to touching meat. I had a gf with major morning breath once :p. As long as they don't harass you for your diet, whatever. Mutual respect.

If they don't have a problem with me eating meat, I don't have a problem with them not doing so.

In short, don't make me try to stop eating steak, bacon and hamburgers and everything will be fine. In return, I won't try to make them eat meat.

I grew up in a Veggie household so I'm pretty used to eating without meat.
Hell, my brother is Vegan and (generally) I'm content eating whatever he makes.

But I do love my bacon...
