Could just be like JD and Turk. If you are not sexually attracted then its just a close friendship. But could always as I said, be liek JD and Turk where it seems like youd do each other.

Honestly, if it was my perfect partner, she'd be a he. I've got female friends that I get along with wonderfully- but they are friends, because they're female, and thus I am not interested in them. In a relationship, there's got to be a bit of physical attraction, as well... and I'm just not interested in girls like that.
Precisely this.

I'll admit, I've had romantic relationships with women before, but they always fizzle out because I'm just not physically attracted to girls. I can crush and dream, but I could never have sex with another woman.

I would probably be much, MUCH happier to have a friend who was that awesome, instead of trying to complicate things with a dating/sexual relationship.

It is quite a common thing actually. I dunno does it count as bi-sexual or whatever?
Likely more like omnisexual or something of the sort. I'm not good with gender relationship terms.

I'm not sure... If I was desperate... Maybe...

I guess... It depends on what the person look likes...

The pursuit of happiness and sex are two entirely different things... My own personal philosophy is that no woman will ever be as awesome as my best friend and that if I was to have sex with my best friend everything after that would be a little awkward when I wanna sit and ***** with a beer and a bud.

You can assume gender for either part of that equation but try switching them about a bit and you will see it works either way.

Well it's cool for you I guess. Not a bad way to be but then could cause problems if the person you find is straight and of the same gender.
Yeah, it's sort of nice. Options are good to have and all.
I suppose that would, but if they aren't into me, they just aren't into me. Happens to people of opposite genders who might otherwise be into each other.

Funny how I should stumble upon a topic like this while listening to a song called Heartful Cry.

Ahem. Anyways.

No, I don't think I could overlook gender in a relationship. I personally believe that there is nothing wrong with being gay or bisexual, but... When I see a guy's lower area, I typically want to throw up. I mean this literally. It's gotten awkward playing through Persona 4 now because of the gay guy... Shadow... Gay shadow guy, who's evidently hitting on the main character by making him fight a giant thong-wearing robot man.

Again, I don't think there's anything wrong with being gay, but I just can't stand my own gender when it comes to anything below the waistline. I'm probably even less comfortable with it than most people, do to some... Incidents, let's say.

Now I'm sure you're thinking love has more to it than sex. True enough, but, again, you have to take note I've been through a couple of fucked up things that just place a gender block in my mind.

And since there is no girl nerdy enough, I guess that means I get to die alone. Woo-fucking-hoo. I'm depressed now, and I'm having some unwanted flashbacks... Can someone remind me exactly why the hell I hang out at the Escapist again?

Because you're a masochist with a cute avatar?

No. Can't and won't.

Because you are welcome here. :) (And others, like myself, feel your pain).

Ah, I have heard talk of scrubs before, never saw it though. Haven't watched a network sitcom since Phil Hartman was killed leaving John Lovitz to ring the death knell for Newsradio.
Wow....see, I thought you were some 13 year old who missed the boat.

I believe in love without sexual attraction. That said, I could not be sexually attracted to someone of the opposite sex. I would, however, try to have a long and meaningful relationship with that person. Just, no sex. I suppose that this would basically be a bromance.
