actually. yes

they aren't the 'end all be all' RPG dev to me, in fact i find they're work to generally be 'meh' even in the games of they're i do like. so it wouldn't really be a stretch for me to never buy from them again.

catchpa: yeah right

clearly the catchpa favors Bioware

I just get whatever appeals to me. There are companies I keep a sharp eye out for and will do additional research before buying their games and some of these include Square Enix, EA, Capcom, and Blizzard.

Nope because I've yet to play a Bioware game that I didn't love.

Sure, some are worst than others but every one of their games I've played has given me a ton of enjoyment.
This. I haven't played as many Bioware games as I should have, mostly limited to KotOR and Mass Effect, but every one of them has been brilliant. It's not the ending of ME3 I remember, it's sitting on Rannoch with Tali, having just saved both the Geth and the Quarians. Remember the highs as well as the lows.

I voted yes for a few reasons. I have nothing left that strikes me as something that i want to play, regardless of what I think about the company. Mass Effect is over, even though they are going to continue the universe, i was invested in Shepard's story that's about it. I played DA:O but never was interested in the expansions or DA2 (called that it was going to have....issues before it came out) so I have no motive to care about whatever comes out of that series. not interested in their MMOs (or MMOs in general for that matter). Never got into the C&C games... so really.. they've lost me as a costumer more because i'm simply not interested in the games they are making more than the screw ups that they've had. At the same time the times they have screwed up are enough to prevent me from simply giving these games that I'm not interested in a try just to see how they are. Also Ive seen a major decline in their quality which is sad because bioware use to be one of my favorite companies. not so much any more.

If you mean could I ever lose my "brand" loyalty to Bioware then yes I could quit easily in fact as that is the only way to make companies learn.

If they "Fix" Mass Effect 3, I'll consider staying on the Bioware Bandwagon, but as of right now I'm completely over them.

They kneecapped my love with Dragon Age 2
and curb-stomped it with Mass Effect 3

Yep, I did.

Loved their older stuff (Baldurs Gate, through NWN and Jade Empire, up to Mass Effect) but then they just went in a direction that wasnt for me. I bought Dragon Age but didnt enjoy it as much as their previous stuff. I didnt buy ME2, DA2, or ME3. I played the beta of TOR and didnt bother to subscribe to that when it came out either.

I didn't buy Dragon Age 2 after playing the Demo, because it wasn't what I wanted to play. I didn't think much of ME2 after the quite good ME1. I haven't bought ME3 yet because of the sour taste ME2 left in my mouth. I'm pretty sure I'll get it sometime but at $35 on eBay down from $90 on release it's still too expensive. I'll get it when it hits $20. I think the last Bioware game I thought was really really good was the Shadow of Undrentide expansion for NWN. Dragon Age: Origins was OK but it kept reminding me that it wasn't BG. I pretty much HAVE given up on Bioware. Obsidian is where it is at.

All I hear about the ending is people saying they dislike it, not that it's poorly made or poorly interacts with the story.
It is poorly made, and it does poorly interact with the story. If/when you get ME3 and finish it, watch this. I think it pretty much covers everything.

Thank you for linking to that video, I now have a new subscription in my Youtube account.

Have you seen the video he just put out earlier today about the recent developments? I swear, this guy should be the mouthpiece for the people who don't like the ending. He's hardly the stereotypical 'entitled' or 'whiny' gamer that certain people on this website like to imagine the anti-ending team as.

OT: I'm done with Bioware until they split off from EA and go back to putting real passion into their games. I am capable of living a perfectly normal human life without playing another bioware game.

I voted "Yes", 'cause I sure as hell could if I wanted to. If the question would be "Would you give up Bioware?", the answer would be "Maybe". Depends on the reason. Because of their games so far: No. Because of Origin und they are bound to EA: Hell yes!

No, I have loved every game that they have released so far.

Their characters are extremely well defined (with exception too a few I didn't like, looking at you ME3 James -_-), and they have always done stories, conversation dialogue and conversations between NPC's really well.

With everything that they have done so far being good in my eyes, why would I want to give it all up?

Now I've seen it. For those who haven't, here you go.

I wouldn't hold out much hope for Bioware getting away from EA, though. That's not usually how this story ends.
