Poll: Create Your Own Film/TV Show/Cartoon

If you had the resources, tallant, and what-not to make your own movie/film, tv show, or cartoon, what would it be about? Who would star in it? Would you be the main feature or would you be behind the scenes? Would you be a co-star?

I would have a cartoon that I would provide some of the voices, but the stars would be Mark Hamill, Bruce Campbell, Tara Strong, Phil LaMarr, Nathan Fillion and would have various celebrities cameo appearances. I don't know what it would be about, but it'd be an action comedy, possibly set in space.

I'd make "lets hunt and kill Megan Fox and Michael Bay" in where contestants have to (here's the hook) hunt and kill Megan Fox and Michael Bay, the prize for winning is that the human race will never have to endure the torture of either persons works.

It would star Bruce Campbell as the over excited but incredibly likable host and have a double team of Lelouch and Bender as commentators.

OK, now who wants to fund my idea?, also yes you may touch me.

If I could make a new cartoon, I'd totally go for a "Detective Conan" type cartoon, I love the way it challenges the mind and keeps you on your toes through the whole episode.

Who would be the cast? no idea, anyone who has a talent.

My idea was stolen by ABC...kind of. Its a show called Happy Town on ABC. I've always wanted to make show about a serial killer in a sleepy small town. It would star Mathew Fox as the town's Sheriff, Hugh Laurie as the serial who seamlessly blends in with people yet is a deranged and expert serial killer and it would Bruce Campbell, idk as what but no show is complete without him.

Ideas...

- Typical Middleclass Housewife accidentially becomes aware that she is a "programmed" sleeper agent, but still does not know what happens during the time she is activated or who's behind it. Cannot trust people around her, but eventually figures out that she is far from being the only one caught up in a large conspiracy.
Somewhat inspired by the movie "Cypher"

- Sci Fi: A peaceful offworld-colony gets drawn into a large war between two factions. During the initial attack, a bunch of random people get saved by a "traitor" of one of the factions and head off into space to find a safe place, but have to go through a war zone first.
...Would probably work better without space in a more current scenario, if i think about it...


Have more ideas, but i keep them to myself since hope to realize one of them one day (okay, one of wich would be essentially Bleach (or pretty much any typical "Shounen"/"Shojo"-Action) with a more realistic view on what it would be like to fight monsters/demons/baddies in secrecy while trying to manage normal life...and as an effect, lots and lots of post traumatic stress disorder)

I think one idea for a show would be an animated version of Firefly. Get all the original actors for the voices. But really, I'd just take any version of that show! So great!

I also would have a game show (Oh! I forgot gameshow! And sorry about forgetting mystery!) it would be an obstacle course and I'd have various celebrities (movie, novel, sports, and musicians) compete for the prize. I think that could be fun to watch.

I would make an action movie based on a team of criminals. I want it to be like Public Enemies, but set in modern day. I just want to have George Clooney in a movie.

Hahahahahahahahaha, this is actually kind of amusing for me . I'm in a film-making group at university, of which I was elected Treasurer last night, and we made a short two-minute film (currently in post-production) set in a lift, filmed at the Carriageworks Theatre in Leeds. I'm also about to start editing a two-minute film (untitled) based on 'momentum' that I shot with two people on campus, and we're planning to shoot a ten-minute film in Roundhay Park, Leeds (the place where modern cinematography was born, incidentally), in early June.

Anyhow, if anybody wants, I'm a budding editor and screenwriter myself, so if anyone wants me to put together a screenplay for them based on their ideas, please let me know . I'm up for writing stuff for people and coming up with scripts for people if they want to film their ideas, so just drop me a line and I'll be happy to help

A science fiction comedy, and I would call it futurama. Oh wait...

I would make a movie about supervillians taking over the world, after almost all of them were defeated, killed or imprisoned.

The main-guy would be some kind who doesn't have a face. His power is to merge with every surface, much like David Banner in the HULK movie.
I guess Clive Owen would fit that role. Grim personality, got disappointed, talks in a poetic way.

Then there would be the "number two", being some kind of mad doctor who hides in the canalization and eats rats. His power would be much like the one of the monster in Jeepers Creepers. He also gets off on fear. That killer from No Country for old men comes to mind.

The third would be some strange mix between Batman and the Goblin from Spiderman. A schizophrenic aging man, rich and with a lot of influence and a secret identity. David Carradine would've been perfect.

Fourth would some bastard with the power to control other peoples bodies. Bastard because he overuses that power in any possible situation. Some kind of psychic Pimp with a huge ego. I picture him like Brad Pit in Fight Club

Last would be a Woman with the ability to copy herself. I don"t know who to pic for this role because I didn't develop it so far.

I know what movie I would make: Deadpool. As a big fan, I couldn't afford not to, had I the means and opportunity. Also I'd want to make a Calvin and Hobbes movie, I think that would be fun.

I wouldn't mind if they made a tv show in the spirit of Clash of the Titans. Like how they used to have a Hurcules show, and a Xena the Warrior Princess show, but make it not cheesy. And if you haven't seen the movie, I'd recommend it.
