I'd love it, but to be cynical, it's better for console manufacturers to say 'you can only play with your friends if you buy our console. Go now, we'll wait.'

Whatever happened to games for windows, come to that? Didn't shadowrun let 360 and pc play together?

Both Shadowrun AND Halo 2 were on the cross play list.

I know Bioshock 2 used GFWL, which ties in directly with the XBoxLive, but I don't think the two did cross platform play.

On a side note, the Publishers for Shadowrun and Halo 2 were both Microsoft.
