Unfortunately it's the boring stuff that causes most of the problems. The long lead-up to war, the tax bill that cuts your paycheck, the bill that funds scholarships for illegal aliens without raising the funding (thereby lowering the chance of YOU getting a scholarship), the bill that bans selling mature-rated video games in view of minors - the things that most affect our lives are the boring stories while they are in process of happening. The story about whether Britney Spears has flashed that nasty crotch lately will likely not affect your life at all.

Nah, America doesn't care less. As long as there's no Communism in Eastern Europe, I can't see them fretting about Russia.

I went with the second option. I would say the first but there's always something happening that I don't know about. The dodo's extinct?! When did this happen?
