Poll: Cyber sex/sexting?

Since so many people in my thread about phone sex mentioned cybering or sexting, I figured that I'd do a poll based on it. So, what are my fellow Escapists thoughts, feelings, and stories?

Considering how badly the phone sex I've had turned out... no way in hell. Words just aren't sexy to me. I require sight and prefer touch.

I did have sext once (yes, she was legal, she was a year older then I was it and was right after my 18th birthday), I didnt find it too enjoyable. I'm the kinda person that likes to be hands on, and at least have something to feel. Plus I was never much of a larper, and thats what I feel sexting is.

Though at my highschool we had a 16 year old do some hard time for actively sexting a 12 year old.

... yeah, that was an interesting home room when they pulled him out of the the class (ironically while he was sexting).

The sad thing isn't really that the 16 year old was actively sexting, but that the 12 year old would be actively doing something like that. I mean, don't get me wrong, I think the 16 year old should have gotten in trouble, but why on Earth would a 12 year old be doing that?

The previous week, we had been doing the exact same thing when she told me that back in middle school, she was in love with me (not being egoistic, just context). The trick is to say something that makes your partner want to quit what they're doing and run at you without pants. I've done it a few times, but really as a foreplay type thing. Making her think about it all day leads to a passionate night.

And I'd bet that sexting is actually more common than phone sex. Certainly in here at least, since texting soon became even more popular than calling, along with the huge boom of mobile phones around 2000. It didn't take long for over 100% of the population to have a mobile phone.

It all depends on a degree of variables - are you together with the person you are cybering with? If not, do you have an other half? Does he / she approve?

And then the "Big one" - is it properly with webcam / webcam, or is it over something like WoW? If the latter, is it even considered real cybering?

This reminds me of a story that that a friend of mine that was in the Navy told me. He had a friend that monitored all of the computers on the base, making sure that no one looked at porn and whatnot, since apparently it's against the rules or something.

Anyway, he saw this guy looking at something with chicks with dicks and he sent his buddy to go bust him, since it was going to be really awkward and such. So while his friend was going to bust him, he kept dragging the cursor away from the close page button, and the guy was caught. I got a good kick out of it when he told me. XD

That's a shame. Never good to hear that some poor child was the victim of something like that. He may get some leeway since he's a minor, but it depends on how the prosecutor decides to paint it for the jury. This is assuming that it goes to trial. Not only did it potentially ruin the girl's life, but it ruined his future as well, but he does have the whole juvenile thing going for him, so his record will be sealed once he hits 18. This is all assuming that you're in the US, or somewhere with similar laws. XD

Most recently... last night, as foreplay. The parter I was cybering with was sitting across the room. We were both working on other things, but we went ahead in the background.

Followed, of course, by a rousing evening of actual sex. ^^ I'm still afterglowy.

Last time cybering as the entire event... it's been a few years. Same partner, though, back during the long-distance portion of our relationship. We had jobs in different states, and we only had the time and money to visit once every few weeks, so the rest of the time we chatted on AIM. Of course, we were also having sex in real life, when we were able to.

I've also cybered with other people on the internet. Back in the late 90s, I was quite the little chat room whore.

What can I say, boredom + internet = masturbation.

That made me laugh. Yeah, I used to do it a lot when I was younger and really shouldn't have been. I've never done it with my current gf, but I've felt neither the need nor desire to. I guess that I got it all out of my system when I was younger.
