Dane Cook is a comedian, who's been drifting in and out of the spotlight for the past couple years. At first, I'll admit it, I liked his comedy, but now he just seems so unfunny. I don't even remember what I thought was funny about the guy anymore! So tell me, do you like this guy, and why? Holla' back!

Some of his jokes are good, but he drags his jokes out too much. But the hobo joke? That was awesome.

Two hobos are making out in an alley. A guy walks by and yells, "GET A BOX!"

He stopped being funny a while ago...i've moved on to better, funnier comedians like Katt Williams and Ricky Gervais

Oh god i hate this guy.
His comedy is terrible and i have no idea why people find him funny. he hasn't said anything funny to impress me.
Good comedians are George Carlin, Mitch Hedburg, Demitri Martin, and Richard Pryor.

I watched about 5 minutes of him on TV, after seeing him being unable to tell jokes due to being out of breath, I turned it off. The Family Guy flashback was spot on,

'Is he telling jokes?'

'I don't know but he's moving around the stage so it must be funny!'

Some of his stuff is funny. Not as funny as it was when I was 12 but then, what is?

I'd rather watch George Carlin at the moment (We will miss you and your cardboard cutout suit lookalike *tear*).

I enjoyed Dane's stand up until I saw him do his special in madison square garden. Now I can't help but think:

His early stand up is spot-on. I still laugh at his comedy central presents 30 minute spot. Since then, it's gone into an endless spiral of just saying stuff, jumping like a monkey, and referencing old material TOO MUCH.

He's not an awful actor. I liked him in Mr. Brooks. But in Good Luck Chuck, it wasn't as great.

So... Hit and miss. Very much so.

Some of his stuff is funny and the really sad part is that he doesnt even have to curse so much to be funny which is more than can be said for at least 70% of all comedians today. Sometimes he does come across as a jerk though.

Dane cook's jokes at this point are building on his early jokes. If you've been watching him since the beginning, the style of talking and all the jumping is funny because it's pretty much an injoke. If you just go into it at this point without already being a fan, it makes no sense. So, I think he's funny, but fairly inaccessible to newcomers.

Also, the audience at his shows makes so much noise at every word out of his mouth at this point that they're impossible to watch, which is annoying.

This essentially summarizes Dane Cook. He'll talk about the mundane, repeat himself a lot, be unnecessarily profane, and prance around the stage like a cheetah on cocaine.

I dislike him. Profusely.

I'm pretty sure he's funny to college students who are drunk. I mean, I guess he's...alright. I don't remember actually ever laughing at him myself.

Oh, god, I couldn't agree more. Carlin and Pryor are classics! I also have to add in there Eddie Murphy. In his younger days, he was phenomenal doing stand-up. Same goes for Bill Cosby. A little more wholesome, but his jokes were always intricate and intelligent.

Dane Cook can only wish he was as talented as any of those guys. What is the big deal about him anyway? For the life of me, I cannot understand why he is seen as funny by so many people. Must be for the audience with IQ's smaller than their shoe sizes.
