Why no Blue Beetle on the list? So he wasn't the most popular of heroes...he was still entertaining, especially with Booster Gold. But Hollywood (with the exception of the awesome Watchmen movie) tends to mess up superhero movies. Constantine anyone? Or X-Men 3?

they focus too much on extended action scenes, neglect story, or take what worked better as a comic book, fail to characterise pretty much everyone and there are already enough of them. it's pretty much charging a subscription fee to fanboys

my love for watchmen only makes my opposition to comic book movies stronger. the idea that they turned something written by alan moore over to zach snyder STILL makes me feel like i might vomit blood.

i'd like to see a comic book movie with no CGI and a focus on character and plot development - the protagonist is more or less irrelevant to me.

I think it's funny that we have a few naysayers against Aquaman and no one has said anything about Plastic Man being on the list.
And in Aquaman's defense he did cut off his own hand to save his child.

They are already moving ahead with a GL movie. Director attached, movie's been greenlit, it's being fast tracked.

It would be a crime if they didn't cast David Boreanaz as Hal Jordan.

I was thinking he'd be a better Captain America for Marvel. But yeah, most definitely Green Lantern.

He was Angel in Buffy and the tv series Angel and plays Agent Seeley Booth in Bones, which is like CSI but you know... Good.

He also voiced Hal Jordan in the New Frontier animated flick. He has the perfect presence for that role.

or the latest batman, spiderman or superman films.
which although apparently really good, and would be thoroughly enjoyed, i just cannot be bothered. if i really was interested in the characters i would read the comic books. the action scenes are rarely good enough to make me change my mind.
