I play Purna, for the specialization in guns, and I must say that the game is not worth the price of admission due to the bugs and the lack of a coherent story.

I wouldn't call it that good. At least Dead Rising has a somewhat cohesive story that anyone can follow.
I'm in Act 3 and I still have no idea what the story is, or should be.
However, I would equate the combat more towards Left 4 Dead 2 and the story more towards Two Worlds.

I wouldn't call it that good. At least Dead Rising has a somewhat cohesive story that anyone can follow.
I'm in Act 3 and I still have no idea what the story is, or should be.
However, I would equate the combat more towards Left 4 Dead 2 and the story more towards Two Worlds.

I'm playing Purna, I'm having fun with it but it really feels like they originally wanted a single player experience before someone say borderlands, then they decided to just do a borderlands type game, in other words since there is a big focus on coop, that means you cant really have a story, so the game really feels like it wants to have a story but doesn't since there is so much emphasis on coop.

I never said it was good either, I should have stated that the story can be easily followed and understood from the beginning, or the middle.
We all know the story in Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 can go fuck off, but for people like me, who enjoy a game for story, can follow it easily and without resorting to the Wiki.

I was Xain, but then I decided to try Purna. Purna gets SO MUCH XP, it's ridiculous. Killing a single Thug gave me 1,100+ EXP...and that's not even counting the 514 XP per broken limb.
