Poll: Dead Island Riptide

I'm the only person who enjoyed Dead Island but I'm not going to buy Riptide. I just don't see the point.

I feel this is the majority opinion on Dead Island. It had such great potential one of the first (to my memory) open world zombie games that looked amazing. Then fell flat on it's face with repetitive combat, terrible characters, and a terrible story.Zhukov said:

Not even going to look at it for any longer than I have to. The first game was crushingly awful, and I'll be damned if they're getting any of my money.
Honestly, I'm surprised that enough people bought the first one to justify a sequel/expansion pack/big DLC thing/whatever the fuck Riptide is.
Points for the name, though. Riptide is a sweet word.

Dead Island was a bit like Diablo in first person with zombies. I expected nothing and it turned out that i really liked it, especially the looting part and the hunt for weapon blueprints. The mp was also good. Since none of my friends played it and i don`t have a headset it could`ve been much better i guess.
Played it on the ps3 and had none of those game/fun crushing bugs or glitches i heard about btw.
I keep my eyes on this. This time i expect the same game with fresh locations and i´m fine with it.

While the game was a bit faulty, I enjoyed the crap out of Dead Island. Perhaps because I didn't get suckered in by the oh so pretty pre-rendered and not even in the game advertisement. It seems that I can never truly get tired of smacking zombies around with improvised weaponry. I doubt I'll buy it right away but I will eventually get Riptide and I suspect I'll enjoy it as well.
