Poll: Dead Island- Will you buy it?

I was intrigued by the trailer for this upcoming game and then looked up some gameplay videos. To me it looks like a cross between Left for dead, Dead rising and a sandbox, open world game. I plan on buying it, as it seems like it has some potential. I ask you , My fellow escapists, will you buy Dead Island

It looks damn cool, emotional storyline or not. So yeah, I plan on getting it. Too bad I'll be in uni by then, and thus, probabally broke.

I'm gonna see if I can scrounge up the cash for it, it's unfortunately not in my budget right now. If money was no issue I'd preorder it.

I'll wait for the reviews, especially Yahtzee's review. The game appears to be really good though. I think it'll be one of those games that everybody loves or everybody hates.

It looks interesting, but I'm gonna wait to see what the general consensus is. I don't know but I have a strange feeling it will end up being an odd mix between Left 4 Dead and Dead Rising and just won't get a sold foot hold. The gameplay looks cool, but I can see where it could get very repetitive very quickly.

You see, I once saw a game, it looked cool in a retarded way, it had zombies and the equipment to dispatch them. It had a wacky charm to it despite its level of stupidity.

After buying it I discovered the survivor AI was more retarded than the Zombies, and I had to install GFWL just to get it running.

Dead Rising 2, you utter utter bastard.

I'm zombied out for a while. Don't get me wrong, it could turn out to be the best game in a while, I'm just giving it a while before I go for something of the undead persuasion. Just like I tend to rotate whole game genres and play more of those than anything else that particular month.

Looks like a cross between Dead Rising 2 and Far Cry 2.

I like DR2 and hate FC2, so I don't know how that will add up. Maybe, will wait for reviews and word of mouth.

I hate hate hate hate hate zombies. This is about as definite a no-go as there is for me. I didn't even watch the trailer that everyone was talking about. I've no interest in seeing walking rotting dead people.

Looks pretty cool to me. I'm not one to run out and buy a game day one so I'll see what the reviewers have to say first then pick it up once the price drops slightly.
