Hang on, let me go create a thread that goes something like this "[Insert game here] is the best game ever made. True or False?"
Honestly, You can't limit it to one game, especially one like Dead Rising with so many flaws. Its a great game, but far from being the "best" anything. The experience is unique but the AI is flawed and the "Infinite" mode isn't all that infinite since you slowly lose hp.
I'm not going to go any further, I just find these threads pointless. In short, No, no it is not the best game ever made and there never will be a "Best game ever made"

The beat game? I didn't know there was a DDR style-mode in that game.
Let's assume, for crazy sake, that you mean 'best game', even you you put 'beat game' twice.
Then no, it isn't. The game was fun, sure. But the time-limit sucks, the save system sucked, and while I love killing zombies...it got fairly repetitive. The mall was only so big, after all.
Good game? Sure.

Its a good game, nay a amazing game.
But the bosses were crap, there were frame rate slow downs and it didn't have that spark that halo 1, half life 2, Super mario bros, etc had.

The timed missions are deeply broken and a lot of your success depends on luck rather than skill. It is fun, very fun, and a great take on the Zombie game, but it is not the best game ever.
EDIT: Also the Human Bosses are fucking cheats, they can move faster than you, shoot better than you and are just all around more capable, this is mostly caused by the fact that the games controls are designed for Zombie fighting.

It's totally awesome to beat up zombies with a broom etc, really original game! But no, not the best ever or anything. Too many other great games around.

Dead Rising is the best zombie game as no other game gives you so many zombies and so many interesting ways to "interact" with them. Case closed.
Yeah, it's spelled "zombie". But anyway, it's not the best zombie game, but it is one of the best. It is very fun, but get's dull after a while.
I personally think that it is an amazing zombie game, i never had frame rate issues like that guy said. Yeah 'infinite mode' should be called something like 'real life 14 hour mode' or something. I don't know.
Also, I don't think L4D is the best because it's disgustingly short and easy, unless all your friends suck at FPS.

So far yes because my defeniton of a zombie is Slow numerous and painful. Since titles like l4d dont actually contain zombies. SO so far DR is the best one.
