Help me out guys vote and comment on the one I should save my monies for!

Dead Space.
I'd give Fallout 3 a few months to iron out the bugs before you buy it. Otherwise your first impressions may be coloured by all the things the dev team didn't anticipate.
Dead Space looks smaller and more linear, so hopefully there should be fewer variables to go wrong. Hopefully...

I'm a bit biased in terms of taste, but if Fallout is anything like Oblivion, the amount of in game time you can spend playing that will far exceed Dead Space. So rather than finishing Dead Space and counting the days until you can afford Fallout, you can play Fallout until you realize you have enough funds saved up for Dead Space and still have game time left over.

Fallout 3 is probably more expansive, but I didn't really like Oblivion, and Fallout 3 looks a lot like it.

On the other hand, Dead Space scares the crap outa me. Maybe I'll buy it, play it for 2 minutes, then pop in Fable 2 and sit in a sunny meadow for an hour.

If you're looking for replay value: Fallout 3.
Scares and immersion: Dead Space.

Both are amazing and i want both but it looks like i'll have to buy one first, get the other one later.
Fallout 3 is the winner for me quite simply because its a RPG, they seem to be the only games which last for longer than a week for me (excluding multiplayers but neither has multiplayer)

Dead space will be bought as soon as i can afford it after Fallout 3.

Fallout 2 was pretty awesome. And my guess is Fallout 3 won't be that buggy, since there has been plenty of time to work the bugs out in Oblivion.

I played through Fallout 2 for a while but i tried to stay clear of the story and enter Fallout 3 as a newcomer so that everything seems new; and I really enjoyed it.

But the back story in Dead Space is sucking me in more and more everyday. :D

Buy whichever your more of a fan of. They're two completly different games, two completly different Genre's. Fallouts size would make it more of a buy though, and Dead Space could be finished in a Rent, maybe.

Rent dead space, buy fallout.

You'll get more out of your money.
This man speaks truths.

Though I can understand if you don't. I myself am the kind of consumer whore who always buys games and never trades them in for discounts on new games. :X

Okay it's unanimous.

I'm gonna pre-order Fallout 3 tomorrow and rent Dead Space and spend a few dedicated late nights finishing it.

Thanks to everybody who voted and posted, you guys are life savers!!

I'd wait and see - personally, I don't like horror/terror games, and enjoyed the first two fallouts, so you can tell I'd go for Fallout 3 (please guys at Besha, get it right - I'm not a purist, at all, and have liked alot of what I've seen, but I have fears about generic, mad NPCs, poor AI, and so forth).

As for you, well, watch the gameplay preview videos and decide which you seem to enjoy more.

Dead space looks too scary for me. It will go in the freezer along with condemned and the movie signs.
Signs wasn't scary, just suspensful. Until the end.

The ending sucked.

I am a horror fan so I have bought Dead Space. I am leary of Fallout 3. I'm affriad it will just be an Oblivion Clone. I like Oblivion, I put 100+ hours into it. So if it is too much like Oblivion, it will just be 100+ hours of the same stuff. So I am going to wait on Fallout and read reviews and hear what you guys have to say. But by that time, Gears 2 will be out, and I am definately getting that. And then there is Fable 2... oh man. OK, that's it, its too much. I'm going back to my nice safe Dead Space... wait... whats that sound? This isn't safe at all! *shoots wildly at all the creepy things wanting to disembowl me*.
