Guys need some help. Friend leaving soon and is selling his worldly possessions towards this grand funding to leave America for good.

He offered his Vita (probably all his stuff for it too) for $200 to me. He bought it around the last days of the Gamestop special release sale for the Vita. What hes offering is:

Vita
Wipeout 2048 (from gamestop special release package)
Travel Case (gamestop release package)
Protective aluminum cover (from dealextreme, Silver)
4GB memory stick (i think this was part of the release package too)
Gravity Rush (normal purchase from bestbuy maybe used)

I can probably haggle him for sure to $150 and with a little luck/speech check to $100 since he just wants hard cash and nobody is offering that. Rarely used so 85% of the time it just sits in his desk.

Do i need to know anything about a used Vita? Like does it only accept a specific PSN account that cannot be changed? Do data installs make a significant difference for most games? How about if this deal is even sound? Looking for more opinions since all i been hearing is $200 sucks go lower essentially.

If i do purchase the Vita, what i do plan on getting is P4G, Disgaea 3, and Dynasty Warriors Next. Im a little iffy on DWN because of the touch features. Im hoping it isn't too intrusive on gameplay. Thoughts and input would be nice.

I can answer those questions.

When you use a PSN account on the vita, it isn't permanently stuck to it. You can log in to a different account and use it, however I think you might just have to wipe the memory card and it will be good to go.

Some data installs make a huge difference, some don't. I haven't data installed for anything yet, and I downloaded Gravity Rush from the PSN store, so it's all installed and works fine, and loads pretty quickly.

I'll say this, when I bought my Vita, I bought it while I was on holidays in America and it cost me $300 brand new. Memory card and case cost me $40. Gravity Rush was $50 and Wipeout was $45.

So to me, that deal sounds pretty damn sound. If you can talk him down, go for it, but the $200 sounds solid to me.
