Poll: Destiny Alpha

so. who here's been playing the alpha?

personally i really like it. i've tried out all 3 classes, warlock is my favorite right now tho i like the hunter's golden gun skill. i love running into random people out in the world, joining together to take out a group of enemies then going our separate ways.

also considering it's an alpha i havn't seen a single bug or glitch.

but my favorite part was the strike mission. for those who dont know strikes are basically dungeon raids. you can play with friends or get teamed up with some randoms (like i did).
me and my team blasted through the dungeon, killed the boss and litterally danced on his grave (yes there is a dance button).

downsides are that the classes are fairly samey. that may change with the higher level skills but with such a limited amount of activities and the level cap which is 8 it'll be a while before we find out.

so what do my fellow guardians think?

Edit: that last option it the poll was meant to be "maybe when it's cheap" but it got cut off.

I'm leaning towards yes as I've always been a fan of the way the Halo games feel to play. So that traditional Halo feel in a new and exciting world sounds really good to me. Sadly, I didn't qualify for the Alpha (I'm guessing it was because I didn't have PS+ active when I signed up) so I'm not able to try it out right now.

I'm thinking about getting it.
Gameplay wise, it seems like an average shooter with RPG elements - which is not bad - but I'm liking the setting and the environments that you can explore. I also like the idea of the game being a multiplayer but allowing for single player at the same time.
Basically, I'd be getting Destiny because it's a cool world to romp around in.

It reminds me of Defiance, Halo and Borderlands with RPG elements. Do I like it? So far yes I do but I can't judge it fully yet. I probably will get it at launch but I've got to play with the alpha more before I decide... well the wife will decide, because she buys the games. Trust me, its better that way.

I like Halo and the setting of Destiny really interests me. So yeah, I'm getting it. Unless the beta turns out to be a MASSIVE disappointment, which, you know, is always a possibility.
