I would wait for a $45 dollar buy. It's good, but not worth as much as a very new purcase. (Of course, you are hearing this from the guy that bought the Augmented Edition out of sheer curiosity.)

How to put it.... it's no Deus Ex 1, and i'm glad it's not remotly Deus Ex 2 (Invisible Wars).

I've seen that sentiment expressed a few times now. Are you assuming Skyrim will be better, or just leaving the door open?

OT: I think of any game I've bought this year, it was most worth the money. I've got something like 30 hours in the game and still haven't quite finished it (I'm being very thorough on my first playthough).

I'd say it's worth $60. I only paid 45 because I pre-ordered on steam, but if getting it on PC isn't an option for you I'd say it's still worth it.

I'd have happily dropped £90 on it for the collector's edition if it were still in stock anywhere nearby, instead I paid £40 for the Augmented Edition.

Its alright, but Steam asks too much, buy online, its an alright game. Probably because I haven't really gotten into it yet and I say that about every single game when I start off playing it.

I usually always wait for price drops, but with so many things coming out in November, I want to actually have a chance to play it between those and the 6+ hours of school work a night. And from what I hear it's worth it.

I paid the full $130 for the Augmented Edition here in Australia. I could have bought the game on it's own for $40 off Ozgameshop.

And I am not disappointed in the slightest. I haven't played the originals of course so I can't comment on how it compares, but as a game on it's own merits, it's brilliant. Shame about Skyrim, otherwise it would have a straight shot at GOTY. As it stands, it's gonna be the hardest decision in recent years for me.

I haven't played a game I enjoyed this much since the 2nd Ratchet & Clank. And before that, Abe's Oddysee. Human Revolution is my 3rd favorite game ever. BUY IT.

Well that addresses my main concern about DE. I generally tend to be somewhat biased against FPS games. Played far too many with campaigns that last 5-8 hours even on "hard" and getting every special item.

Buy it NOW! It really is great met my expectations and then some. It was my most anticipated and I love the game to death. The game works great and all of the easter eggs throwbacks and attention to details are amazing for a game like this.
