Poll: Deus Ex: HR. Worth full price or wait for drop?

Well, I bought the game for $45 because I preordered on steam, but even if I hadn't gotten it at a discount, having played it now, it would definitely have been worth getting for full price.

Good Game. I would say wait until they patch the HUD glitch. You may not be affected by it, but it's borderline game breaking. It completely removes your HUD, which would be a lot of fun if you didn't buy augmentations that rely directly on the HUD. I already returned the game myself because of this fact (that and I beat it on Give me Deus Ex without a HUD). I would say that yes, it is a good enough game to pay $60 for; based on half the garbage that's priced at $60 you could do much, much worse.

Is it revolutionary? Not even close. Is it as good as the original? No. Is it worth $60? Absolutely. I have fairly high expectations for games, while I wasn't astounded or amazed by this game it definitely was worth full price for the experience it gives. I give it roughly a 8/10 before the glitch kicked in and I do grade games fairly hard.

I wont say "Its the best game ever" but it is a very good game and if you are into that kind of game (FPS RPG Stealph and a some other genre milkshake) then I would advise you to buy it.

It's an okay game, not fantastic and I'm sure a lot of it's hype is it's new and it's the first game in the deus ex setting that didn't felt some what like it should compared to the original. That said it has it's flaws and I'd wait for a price drop if i had to do it all over again.

I think I'm on the last mission and I love it. I've gotten at least 35 hours out of it and they have been fun times. There are a few small problems but overall it is tied with inFamous 2 as my favorite game this year so far anyway(Dark Souls!).

If you have the money go buy it. Maybe it might encourage Eidos to make a similar shooter/RPG(I can dream can't I?!).

BTW Human Revolution is my first Deus Ex game so I can't compare it to the other two.

edit: Having just finished the game I gotta say the ending is lame as hell. I got no closure and lose ends. No bueno Eidos.

DE:HR has everything I love that has come in games and more... How you say, GO BUY NOW!

This is going to be the most "worth full price" game to come out this year if Skyrim manages to somehow miraculously not disappoint. The thing is, though, no game is perfect for everyone. Human Revolution was more or less a faithful recreation of Deus Ex in a different setting and story. I imagine they're going to wait until the next DE game to really start expanding, but there's not *that* much new in this installment. If you loved Deus Ex, you'll love Human Revolution. If you hated Deus Ex, you might want to be cautious in dropping your hard earned cash.
