It's simple - because that entire 200 hours was all building up to that one moment.Shadowstar38 said:Infamous 2 had equally horrible endings, but I can still have fun with the gamplay and story of that series. I honestly dont understand how 30 mins out of the last game could make people so jaded they give up on the preceeding 200 hours of enjoyment.
Maybe because all through the series development we were being told "your choices matter" and then you get to that last 30 mins and realise that "oh wait they actually don't matter in the slightest".That last 30 mins makes every single choice that I agonised over utterly irrelevant as no matter what I choose I get the same shitty ending anywayShadowstar38 said:I honestly dont understand how 30 mins out of the last game could make people so jaded they give up on the preceeding 200 hours of enjoyment.
In my opinion; the quality was sorely lacking in the whole third game, not just the ending 30 minutes. There were still parts that were excellent reminders of what potential the game had, but I think the whole trilogy just slogged on uncaringly with most of that third game.Shadowstar38 said:Infamous 2 had equally horrible endings, but I can still have fun with the gameplay and story of that series.
