Just wanting to know. I admit that I have. When I was a kid and didnt know all the consequences.

And I dont want you to judge someone that has ok. Keep it civilised.

I don't believe so. There are some kids who got a little to fresh with my cousin who got an ass-whuppin' that might disagree with that sentiment. Bullying is only bullying if it's perceived that way by the victim. Not usually the person actually doing it.

hmmmm...indirectly

there was this one girl right...you know..THAT person the annoying kind...whever they say somthing its cringeworthy and they just go on and on and on and on and on and you wish they would shut up...she also had a stick up her ass

she was an easy target, we were in the same small circle of "freinds" and somtimes yeah..I'd jokingly take the piss....to her and only her (not to mean intentionally)

thing was though she got alot of crap from other girls (nothing outright..just innocent piss taking)

I think she actually tried venting her frustrations on me..out of all people (mabey she saw me as the weakest target) we had a few serious disagreements, and ot be honest..I dont think I acted as nice as I should have

highschool politics is a complcated messy thing..and my insecurited never helped the situation

I wouldn't call it bullying. It was more like light teasing and ridicule.

Anyway, there was this kid in junior high who was quite poor. He never looked like he was freshly showered (and I think the PE teacher let him shower at school), he didn't have much food, low self-esteem, etc, etc. I think he smelled a bit as well.

He was sort of the school misfit and everyone laughed or giggled or made little remarks behind his back. I took part in it somewhat, and I certainly didn't try to stop the kids from laughing or making jokes about the poor guy. It was pretty much mental cruelty.

Many years later I found him on Facebook and apologized for participating in making his life at that time more difficult that it should have been. He didn't reply, but I said my peace.

I have also been bullied. Maybe it was karma.

Yeah... at the time, I was getting bullied mercilessly, so I started picking on the few kids who were smaller than me. Until I realized how stupid and backwards that was, and that I'd rather be the link that ended the chain.

One of the kids I bullied later became jacked, popular, and able to get any girl he wanted. The other kid I bullied and I eventually became friends. So, bygones, I guess...

I was small for my age and I often bullied those larger than me, never anyone smaller than me because what would be the point? Small man issues I guess, I caught up size wise at puberty and gained a hell of a lot more confidence, after that I never felt the need to push people around. I never went in for the undermining, psychological bullying, I just thumped people. There was no internet back then so I would have need a robot arm to have "cyberbullied" anyone...

Yeah. I was one of the type of people who would bully the weaker kids to feel better about myself, or to feel powerful. Shit like that really. I wish I didn't do that kind of bullshit, but I did and there is nothing I can do to change that, so I just moved on.

Yeah a bit in middle school, but then everyone bullied each other in middle school because it sucked. I'm sure I jumped on bullying bandwagons in elementary school too but I honestly can't remember any specific cases. I had it pretty rough until high school so I mainly remember that. By the time I was in high school I started standing up for and befriending the weirdos... I mean they were weird but that doesn't mean you shouldn't treat them like any other human.

I was a little shit until my senior year of high school. The worst thing I've done was the time a group of kids and I during high school bullied this one freshman to the point that he changed schools.

Since then, I've really mellowed out and become a much kinder person. Some of my friends are still shit heads, and I still probably tease people I like too much. Although, I don't seek out people to put them down anymore; I've grown past that.

If being mean to stalkers is bullying, then I'm a bully and don't regret it. I never went out of my way to make someone miserable, but if they wouldn't leave me alone I'd be a *****.

Back in middle school with the whole cliques there was one guy who would always follow my group around. We told him nicely to go away but he had a stalker crush on one of my friends in the group. So when being nice didn't work we would bully him to try to get him to go away. Finally when he let it slip to the entire school he was a stupid creep he stopped. He grabbed her purse during lunch and was digging through it when he held up a pad for the entire lunchroom to see and yelled "what's this?" That kid deserved every laugh at his expense for doing that.

Then in high school this one dude who was terrified of girls yet somehow managed to get a crush on me. His friends kept trying to cheer him on and told me to be nice, but he could only muster up the courage to stand behind me and breathe down my neck. He was too terrified to say anything so turned around and yelled boo and watched him jump. Repeat that for a few days til I lost amusement and patience and told him to grow a pair or leave... with a few more cuss words.

My friend's and I hang shit on each other...I doubt any of it has a real effect on their mentality, but when someone does say something harsh an apology will always follow

Once. Only once. When I was like, eight.

I still remember it and cringe at myself whenever I think about it.

Tis is pretty much 1200% true for every highschooler ever. This is why the majority of problems in highschool arise. I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head. Its hard to tell sometimes, i mean sometimes you know people who are annoying, always wanna be in your business, are uncontrollable liars, boasters ect and you cant help but want to be unpleasant to these people. Theres a fine line between that and bullying though. Its just hard to tell.
