I sort of fell for one when i misjudged a joke.

Some LBP DLC was release with perfume bottles as icons claiming to be a costume.
I expected to be a perfume bottle running around and waited almost an hour for updates to finish.
Then i find out you don't get to BE a perfume bottle, the sackboy just sprays himself with it and nothing happens.

I used to play CS:S on a server called M.I.A. Jailbreak. They randomly shut down once, though, due to hackers or something which annoyed me quite a bit. The other Jailbreak servers just have nothing to it. Well, there was an announcement on their Steam page a while back that they would have a new server coming. So on April 1st, they post "NEW SERVER UP TONIGHT!" and kept sending event timers, "1 HOUR TILL NEW SERVER" and stuff.

I didn't go, but I wanted to today. I check the Steam page...

I learned that NOTHING is off limits on April Fools Day, and also that caps-lock is cruise control for cool server.

Nope. I was a bit 'WTF?' when Hub got banned, but then I saw the massive amounts of people getting banned and figured out it was a joke. Plus, Kulani's reason for banning Hub while funny, was definitely not a reason for a ban.

In my defence it was extremely elaborate and was actually a day early, not only did it scare the shit out of me, but many other users (gave a long drawn out explanation as to why they're shutting down, go look it up yourself if you're that interested.)

I'm in the same boat. After about the 3rd or 4th odd thing I decided to look at my calendar. I keep forgetting that April Fool's Day comes around the same time each year

I fell for one. My dad was bringing me back from martial arts class, or so i thought. The drive is usually 3 minutes, but we took the 1 hour scenic route. The worst part? I didnt notice until 15 minutes in.

Seriously, to me April's Fools jokes are so transparent. Anytime anyone tries to get me, my first reaction on that day is "April Fools?". I guess if someone really wanted to get me, they would be better to pull a prank on me on March 31st or April 2nd. That would get me.

I only fell for one on Deviant Art. They changed everyone's icons to be Twilight, Lady Gaga, and Seeker themed (what is Seeker?). I panicked for a minute and wondered what was going on.

Then I realized the date and wasn't fooled by anything else. There were some funny gags floating about the net too.

My dad said 'your shoe laces are undone' and i was wearing shoes that didnt have laces but i looked!
And yes that is my dads idea of an April Fools ¬_¬
