I learned about it from my friend when they first started showing trailers but I didn't believe him because the early trailer made the Scott Pilgrim look like any other Michael Cera movie. It didn't have all the weird videogame related effects. Just awkward little Cera at a party looking at a pink haired girl then stalking her through amazon.com or something.

I didn't know about it until the movie but I bought the first book when I saw the trailer. I quite like it.
