Poll: Did you save the Collector Base in ME2?

Blew it. My Shepard is a smart guy and he knew that keeping it would mean somebody as bad as the collectors would get their hands on it. Plus he thought that would be a blow to the reapers and maybe he would get more time to prepare for them.

I blew it up, simply to upset The Illusive Man and tell him where to go when he questioned my motives.

Doing anything that the Illusive Man wants is never something that should be done in my books. Ever. Never have done it, never intend to because of how much of a backstabbing jerk that guy is and even before Bioware started revealing too much about ME3. Besides, his reaction to you destroying it is comical.

I wasn't convinced that destroying it was the best idea- and had Anderson/ the Council asked me to keep it for them, I probably would have. However, putting anything as powerful and dangerous as the CB into the hands of Cerberus seemed really detrimental. After all this organization has a really poor track record with actually controlling the badass technology they come across, much less using it for "the good of humanity." Plus I was uncomfortable w/ the whole "for the good of humanity" thing in the first place. My Shep is more of a "for the good of sentient life" kind of person.

I blew it up because every time anyone has had any prolonged contact with Reaper tech they ended up indoctrinated. Also because Cerberus is completely untrustworthy and I really enjoyed defying the Illusive Man. The bastard.

I just need to calibrate these cannons. What? Oh, I blew up that base, keeping it seemed like a terribly stupid idea given what happened to the crew on the "dead" Reaper.
