No, I tried registering but they never emailed me back to let me activate my account so I couldn't vote 
I voted, but only because of the reminders here. I scrolled through some of the other stuff after voting for the escapist, and I think I voted for theonion.com, and maybe 1 or 2 others.
For those who didn't vote, think about it like this: If they win, they get more publicity, which gets them more business. When business is good, it makes those of us who leech off free content (ZP/Forums/News) happier because they can provide us with better services. So in essence, your voting is actually helping you. This place isn't the public library, where everyone's taxs go to it. We have to help out somehow, and this is an easy way to help in a big way.
Besides, this is the most mature site about the allegedly "childish" genre of entertainment, ever.

I grew a bit suspicious of Gamespot when their number of votes suddenly just shot up to take the lead when beforehand they were doing piss poor.

i had a hard time choosing whether to vote for the escapist or gamespot, gamespot is by far a more serious sit while escapist is the fun loving blacksheep of the gameing sites, but i went for the escapist since it dosent do the whole random number trown at games thing
