Ok, so I was on Memebase and ran into this interesting scenario.

You have crashed on an isolated island. You must wait 5 years until you are found and rescued. The island is located within the Pacific Ocean, and has 2 rainy seasons and 2 hot seasons. Consider the following options. All Pokemon have unlimited PP and HP.

A
A Charizard with CLIPPED WINGS. It cannot fly, yet knows Slash, Fire Blast, Ember and Smokescreen.
B
A Blastoise that DOESN'T KNOW SURF, yet knows Hydro Pump, Bite, Skull Bash and Rock Slide
C
A Venusaur that knows Razor Leaf, Vine Whip, Solarbeam and Synthesis (which can heal your physical injuries, but not burns or poison etc)
D
A beautiful 16 year old girl who lusts after you upon demand. She knows basic survival techniques and has a lighter and knife. HOWEVER, the girl dies after the fourth year.

Not the most original, but what the hey, it got me thinking about all the different scenarios and I figured it'd make for an interesting discussion.

I'd rather not have a girl who will die with me. So I'll get that Venusaur for healing injuries, providing cover from the rain/sun as well as the body heat for the nights. I'll have to try and take care of myself, maybe get good at fishing.

Good luck feeding the Venasaur. I'll take the girl, not just to have sex with her when she gets a little older, but because it'll be far less lonely and I can actually feed her. The body naturally heals injuries and I'm tough enough as it is, I think I'll be fine. If she knows about survival then she knows how to heal common injuries.

Venasaur is going to die in less than a year once you have to stop feeding it for all the shit it's eating.
