I've never gotten into the energy drink craze and everyone I've ever tried doesn't really affect me in any way. I usually drink 2 to 3 cups of coffee in the morning, and even that doesn't do much. I just drank a Red Bull and I feel like I could lie down and take a nap, I really don't feel any more alert than I was before. Do you too feel this resistance to caffeine?

Yeah, I have that. I never saw the big deal in energy drinks in that they just tasted kinda funny. I do feel the crash off of coffee though. Maybe not the suposed enery when taken it but damn the crash after it wears off hits me like a brick wall.

It's not much, but with the right ingredients and amounts, they might give a spark of energy... otherwise.... no.

Yes. I've drank energy drinks for about 9 years. I can pretty much drink a can and fall asleep soon after. Actually I've even done that.

Of course they'll affect you. Caffeine and guarana do that to you.

It does affect everyone, but amounts needed do change, because of grown tolerance. I drink coffee every morning as do millions of people. You don't see that rarely making anyone bounce off the walls. The same goes for energy drinks.

Red bull and coffee affect me alright, other energy drinks are either too weak or too gross. (I'm very picky about flavor and have a high tolerance)

I might have to try some different energy drinks when I get some spare time/money though, the Red Bulls are killing my wallet.

Also, I hear folks with ADD have opposite reactions to caffeine. Not sure how true that is though.

They may have done once, but not any more. I do try different ones occasionally, see if they restart my hyperness, I do find I only become hyper if I was happy when I drank it so the caffeine may just enhanced my mood. Even then I don't bounce of the walls. I can do that without energy drinks anyway.
I prefer Relentless, tis my favourite. For other caffeine things I do love a good cup of tea. Make my psychology lessons so much more bearable when I'm not taking them seriously and I actually learn more.
Monster tastes strange to me, it reminds me of generic hand soap you find in public bathrooms.

They don't really affect me at all. My metabolism is so high that I process everything almost instantaneously.

I drink coffee because I like the taste though :D

They don't affect me because i don't drink them. Those things taste foul, way to sweet.

I get REALLY freaking paranoid, like I smoked pot and I know someone knows. I don't drink anymore.
