The only energy drink I drink is Relentless, and it does have an effect on me. I used to drink about 3 every day, so my foot would be constantly twitching and I would talk quite a bit more. I've cut down significantly now, so now I can get a fair amount of sleep.

The only reason I drank that much was to counteract my medication, which makes me very drowsy and lethargic. It worked a bit too well.

The only time caffeine effects me is when I haven't had anything to eat yet. But if I've had breakfast I'm more or less immune. Although I don't drink energy drinks, I tried some once and they all tasted like shit to me.

Energy drinks have no effect whatsoever on me. I just drink them because I like the taste.

Redbull ... doesn't do much.

Coffee fuels me reasonably well, but was also the cause of me seeming to burn out a lot of caffiene receptors at Uni ... overdosed on it to do all-nighters.

I have found, to my surprise, that Relentless perks me up massively, however. It's almost frightening (that and the increased heart rate). I wouldn't be all that shocked if someone did an analysis and found its active ingredient is actually cocaine or amphetamine. It's either that or the fact it comes in a can at least 2x the size of RB :D
The flavours - like red bull - aren't really so nice, but I keep a couple on standby deep in the cupboard for staying-awake emergencies.

Ya they make me fat and I abhor the taste (makes me want to puke), but they do keep me awake. But I'd really rather have a good mug of java juice.

On a tired day, I'll have 2 Double Espresso shots, a large Extra Shot Cappuccino (place I go to does things so you'll get 4 shots worth in that), and energy drink or two, and a coke. Doesn't really affect me, but it'll probably ruin the shit out of my organs.

I would have to say that they do affect me but it depends on the drink. Redbull is like a soda to me I can drink it and not feel anything at all (Thats why I like it with my Jager). Now a NOS energy drink is freaking awesome. I drink 2 of those before I go sit in my tree stand for hunting and I swear that I can see in to the dark.

I'm completly immune to caffeine!
I don't think I am, but I have never felt more awake after drinking coffe or energy drinks. Sometimes when I tired as hell during the mornings and have to go outside I make a cup of superstrong coffe... Still gotta fight not to fall asleep on the subway.

I find that energy drinks and coffee make me tired pretty much right away. The added bonus with coffee is that it upsets my stomach and the bonus with energy drinks is that they feel like they are burning my throat up to 3 days after drinking them.

They give me an uncomfortable dizzy sensation and make me feel overly paranoid, so I tend to avoid them.

Yes, but I usually have to drink more than one can and they make me feel all fluttery unless I'm actually in a hyperactive mood. I tend to prefer the original versions ofRelentless or Monster, but I also love Rockstar Cola and Red Bull if it wasn't so expensive.

Medically speaking it is impossible for a dose of a stimulant such as caffeine to not affect you. It will raise your heart rate, blood pressure, and trick your brain into being less tired. "Making you sleepy" is probably a psychological effect.
As for me, well I know my caffeine. I stick to coffee, it is cheap, easy to obtain / make, and has more caffeine than most energy drinks (when made right, /250ml). My max hourly dose of caffeine as of this week is 300mg before I get symptoms of overdose. For those that do not know that is an insane amount due mostly to tolerance from excessive consumption.

All energy drinks taste terrible to me. I did shotgun one once to see if it would affect me with minimal bad taste. I threw up 20-30 minutes later.

So I guess yes, they do affect me.

They taste horrible.
Also, I don't drink caffeine and having a soda is enough for me to stay wide awake. So, if I would drink one it would probably destroy me.

The only one that affects me is Monster, I can drink the others and they'll have little to no effect on me, but Monster perks me right up

I doesn't matter what energy drink I drink and in what quantity, fuck all happens. I don't feel tired or jittery and never have. At times I thought something might have been wrong but who knows?
