Poll: Do men actually think about sex every other minute?

Statistically, we think about sex every 5 minutes or so. But statistics lie. I'd say that I think about sex every few hours. Some think about it every few minutes. That doesn't mean that every guy does it, but most do. Thinking about sex doesn't involve only thoughts about having sex, it involves every sexual thought no matter how minor it seems. For example a guy sees a girl and a quick thought runs through his mind "would I hit that" or "small boobs" "nice ass" etc. In this regard, most guys do think about sex almost all the time. It's natural, and there's nothing you can do about it. All of these guys who voted no are probably liars, or impotent. Of course it also depends on age, hormone level etc. 13 year old boys for example, think about sex ALL THE TIME. It's all they can think of. If you know any 13 year old boys, and you're hot, you can be damn sure they're stroking their banana thinking about you at least twice a day.
As for do we talk about it. That's got nothing to do with being a man or a woman. That's a personality trait. I don't talk about anything personal except on the internet where I'm anonymous and I don't give a shit.

I would suggest going and getting checked out be a doctor if you actually do think about sex every other minute. It is not healthy.

Well, I have noticed this trend recently, when a kid is in school and learns about sex, it's this cool new thing they want to talk about. It just so happens that many more kids their age have discovered it and wish to talk about it too, boys are more open with it which can lead to many problems, but as they get older, most take the mature route and get over it and go about their days, while some, the most annoying it seems, keep going on and on about it until they've alienated most mature people around them.

It wasn't demanding an apology, gees, I was just trying to be helpful. I assumed you would have accepted you were wrong and apologised by then so I tried to help let you know how to tell me.

You were over-zealous and incorrect. I never stated that he didn't know how to spell it, I said he spelled it wrong. So you're still incorrect. It's okay, we all make mistakes. I would really like that apology though, it'd let me know that you learnt from your mistake, which is the main thing.

I agree that every minute is over the top. Then again, it's questionable what you consider the term "sex". Does that simply mean simple attraction to other people or literally the thought of intercourse. Personally, I have very few thoughts of sex.

As a girl I originally just rolled my eyes when I heard this, but then i recalled back when I still rode the schoolbus and it really did seem that every conversation always looped back to sex or rape. The way I think of it, a person would have to be concentrating really hard on sex to actually think of it that often in a day but then again, I'm not a guy. What do you think about this?

Search bar disapprovement joke aside, I responde as usual, only in a good part of my spare time, which isnt much if you remove sleep, work, drive, read newspaper, and other tasks that keeps me focused. So depends a bit on how much time do I have to basicly do nothing but stare at nothing. And if you dont count romance as sex (romantic thoughts without sexual content) it is probably even less.

Not sure how to vote on the poll, but yeah, a lot do. I'm one of the few who doesn't. I've actually gone to school with people who had just discovered that there was more to the internet than porn.
