The problem is that those with enough money will work to try to undermine it and bring more money to themselves than others.
The problem is, the ones that look to make big money may come to do dubious and unethical procedures/shortcuts that can ruin them. Think of the derivative market causing the world financial meltdown or how the top 4 car companies buy regulations from Congress to eke out other competitors. What you don't want is better ideas. You want to profit from your own and make as much money as possible.
That's kind of how capitalism works, but there are ways to change it.
