No, of course not. If you don't like someone, try saying something with wit and style. I can feel the 'derps' flying off a statement like that. It's the sort of thing that comes out of the mouth of uncomplicated people, lacking cleverness, original thought, and - indeed - a personality to speak of.

The above burn is actually a good example of quality cutting remarks. But what I'm getting at is that many people say things that impart nothing useful, jabbering on without really saying anything. If I cannot think of something worth saying, I will at least crack a joke in the interests of good taste and spicing up everyone's day.

No I don't respect them, but then I don't much care.
People are dicks and that dickishness is magnified when commenting on Youtube.

I wouldn't respect anyone who says that - regardless of the age of the person they are yelling it too.
Took the words right out of my mouth - it's an inappropriate thing to say to anyone, of any age, for sharing their 'talent', however mediocre or hateful it makes you feel. Trolls or not, there are people sitting behind those keyboards, I just hope that's not what they truly believe or behave like.

Who said I had to respect them to agree? I don't care if she isn't producing, she still agreed to do it with knowledge that she had no talent (I'm sure). Ark Music is pretty evil, too, so...

EDIT: Wait, wait, no, scratch that, that makes me sound like an asshole. She doesn't deserve hate like that, but I do think she deserves some of it. It should serve as a slap on the wrist. "Don't do that again." is the message that should be gotten across.

"do the world a favour and slit your wrist"=overly hostile troll comment

"this song fucking SUCKS. YOU CANNOT SING. YOU HAVE ZERO TALENT, DO NOT TAINT THE WORLD WITH THIS FILTH AGAIN."=fine by me

way I see it, advising suicide is a bit much, but if a kid (or a parent) puts themselves out there, they gotta be prepared that not everyone is gonna think they're a talented little spot of sunshine

Give me the chance to be a 13 year old millionaire superstar. You can type insults until your fingers are worn down to the fricken bone. Hell I'll even give you my number. You can do it live.

Young people do things that piss us off. Babies cry and poop. Kids run around breaking stuff. But not everybody performs terrible pop music that makes the entire music industry a joke. I don't care how old you are, you don't have to sing.

Now, for Willow, it's a little bit different. Yes, she annoys me, but I am more pissed off at the fact that she gets a free ride becasue of her dad. I myself am not going to fire off angry youtube hate comments, but I do not condemn people who do.

I don't feel as though advocating removing yourself from the world is an appropriate sentiment for any but the worst offenders of the human race- and by that I mean rapists, murderers, and the like.

And over a song? Jeez.

When your music is worse than Bieber's it DOES NOT deserve to live. Seriously. Bieber is bad enough, you think we need something even worse than him to be popular?

Besides, it's a troll. See also: [a href="http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2004/03/19/"]Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory[/a]

EDIT: Bieber, not Beiber. Even his name sounds retarded. Beiber (BI-ber) actually sounds... well, better than Bieber (BEE-ber)

I dont think I've ever said it to the person doing a song, but I've told people that make those comments they should also do it.

however, I think you're third option is contradictory, since when you're 18, you're not a child.

I'm sorry, you expected anything intelligent to come out of HER?

I think he meant from the comments section, not from the uploader comments.

Ah ok, let me amend that.

"I'm sorry, you expected anything intelligent to be posted in one of HER video comment sections?"

Or even better;

"I'm sorry, you expected an intelligent post on YOUTUBE?"

Ok ok, I'll post something more constructive. Yhea that kind of thing is a little bit much, but its youtube. People post worse crap all the time.

Really depends on the situation. I've met some "children" that really probably should, so I can't categorically say I'm against it, but It's not something that should be accepted except under extreme circumstances.

While it may be mean to say, few people actually mean it. Plenty of people say "go die" or "I'll kill you" to each other when they are mad. These people are just expressing their displeasure with words other than "you suck." However, actually stalking them or sending them death threats IS very wrong.

(personally I dislike both Bieber and Rebecca Black, but Bieber at least deserves success. He has some talent and worked his way from very little. Rebecca Black never was trying for fame. The song wasn't written by her, it was just something her parents paid a recording company to let her do for fun (the company wrote the song and supplied the equipment for the music video).

Edit: Also note that most of the people who say such things are probably children themselves just bullying rather than adults.

While I may not be a fan of Rebecca Black or Justin Bieber, I do not agree with people whom would post hateful comments out of jealousy. If you don't like their music, don't listen to it. Verbally attacking someone is still a form of attack.
