Poll: Do Wii fanboys exist?

In all my time at the Escapist(and the internet in general), all I've seen is people bashing the Wii. So my question is, have you ever met (or are you) a Wii fanboy?

Also, in order to qualify as a fanboy, the person must say that the Wii is better than any other console.

There is always fanboys for everything.

I myself don't understand the bashing of the Wii. I'd much rather want some bashing on the developers that screw the console over all the time.

Of course there are. I would have thought out of the amount of people who have owned/played one it would be statistically impossible for there not to be fanboy/girls for it.

I can't say I have met any though.

I wouldn't worry about the Wii bashing either, people love bashing things on here. It's cool don't you know, especially if everyone else or Yahtzee also does it.

Of course there are Wii Fanboys, but for whatever reason they aren't particularly prevalent on Escapist.

I'm a bit of a Nintendo fanboy, as I am a Bioware fanboy. The Wii however is suffering from a lack of good games. The last game I bought for the Wii was SSBB, which was over 2 years ago. I'm waiting for a new Metroid game and the new Super Mario Galaxy 2, actual games, not the 90% shovel ware crap the Wii has now.

Yes and if they come out as one they will be mocked for the 360 and PS3 fanboys will unite as one (putting differences aside) and mock the Wii fanboy till they laeve and then the NAP 360 has with PS3 will be over and the war will continue.

There are around 5 fantastic Wii games, but by the time Silent Hill: Shattered Memories comes out, they'll be no need to have it any more.

I wouldn't say I am a fanboy by your standards, but I do love my Wii and want to see some more of the potential used. My problem is with all the developers that can't figure out how to make a decent game for it. I don't blame Nintendo for the Wii's faults, I blame every other company who just puts out bad games and don't really think to hard about. I especially dislike the guy from EA who says the reason that his company can't make any money off of the Wii is because Nintendo is not doing enough to advertise the system, when most of the games his company makes for the Wii are terrible.
