I usually read the OP, first page, and last page to see where the conversations at and to make sure I don't repeat others.
First off, nice username.
Second off, I usually do the same, or (as others have said) don't respond.

I've started being more careful about that kind of stuff. I didn't at first, but now I take the time to read the OP, and read through the thread first before I post. Both to avoid doubly posting, and to avoid just looking like an arse.

reading books is for losers.
only a joke I read main post (1). If people are saying interesting things I read all of the post but if people are repeating them self I just post my thoughts on the topic.

You should have said in the OP, if you read this say X that way you could really know weather or not people read it.
But I read them, and all the posts as long as its reasonable and interesting.

I generally will read all of the opening (depending on length and my own personal interest). Also as a lot of others have said, if it's something interesting, I'll read most, if not all of the comments made and either contribute something meaningful or reinforce something that another has said.

I read the whole thing, but that doesn't mean I'll abide by the requests if I disagree with op/think he's a moron. If I don't I'll at least explain why I think he's wrong. I always skim the posts, but if there's 12 pages of everyone spouting the same two jackass opinions without actually stopping to read or think about the rest of the topic, it's really hard to get through it all.

I read the whole thing to avoid saying what others already have(irony much?) and also to see what the hot button topics are, and just how retarded they are. I only stop reading once the comment cycle comes full circle.

Lurking is fun.

i will read the first post as long as it isn't too long, otherwise i don't read it at all and usually won't post either. think i posted in your QTE thread and there were a lot of people who mentioned GoW.

EDIT: is the 'you shot who in the what now' option a reference to The Simpsons? (namely the Who Shot Mr. Burns Part II episode?)
Very yes! That wasn't even the "joke" response. The "I Read" option shows just how many people are lying.

I am currently reading 3 different books. All of them I've read before

I'm reading The Hobbit to my Step-daughter, I'm reading Dreamcatcher by Stephen King to my girlfriend, and Villains by Necessity by Eve Forward to myself

On Topic: I don't read :p

I hate it when it happens. Too many people don't pay enough attention to the OP, which basically states what the thread should be about.
Yep, I hate it when we get that with people mistakening 'best ... ever' with 'my personal favourite ... ever'.

Because it's my opinion I don't mind if someone shares it to. No point asking an opinion if everyone need to all have differnet opinions. So I post it to inform people I also have that opinion.

I don't read much, instead I write, after all, why read someone else's adventure when you can just create your own?

Yes, I usually try to read at least the first 5 pages, or more if I'm interested in the topic.
