So, anyway. Background: My mom grew up with sweetened cream. My dad didn't. My mom often sweetens the cream when she whips it, and my dad doesn't really understand why. It's not that he dislikes sweet cream, he probably just prefers unsweetened cream. But he's not crazy about sweets overall, so I guess that's another factor.
I tend to always add a little bit of homemade vanilla sugar when I whip cream, but it's more out of habit than me preferring it over unsweetened cream.
Simple question: Do you add sugar to your whipped cream, or anything else to make it sweeter?
(Bonus question: How many times did I say "cream" in this OP?)
