In most cases I think he's full of shit and he's always nitpicking but he makes funny videos. He doesn't make unbiased videos, he is making videos about things in games that he doesn't like. I appreciate that, that's why I watch Zero Punctuation

I always rent console (only PC title I care about is Starcraft 2) games that I find even slightly interesting, and if they prove to be seriously awesome or have a lot of content/replayability I may even buy them. Yahtzee does not influence my gaming preferences, that would be silly. I react to his reviews with a nice mix of laughter and nerd rage, which is probably what he intended. Also I think that Sands of Time is a really mediocre game, as for Silent Hill 2, it's great but he read way too much into it. You can find brilliant symbolism in everything if you like it enough to look hard, but that doesn't make it intentional.
Call me a fanboy, but I have watched all his videos and have yet to blatantly disagree with a point. When a friend first showed me a ZP video, I thought Yahtzee was merely being a troll.
As I watched more I realized I share most of his dislike for JRPG, RTS, online multiplayer, and the Wii; as well as his love of SOT trilogy, and Portal. His points have even helped me put in words just why I disliked certain games.
While he is exaggerated, his points are thought out and legitimate enough for me to ignore his seemingly trollish delivery.
