Poll: Do you believe in Ghosts/Demons?

Well, as you have probably guessed, I saw the Last Exorcism. I cannot really say I was impressed, especially with the ending. Anyway, it got me thinking. SO my fellow Escapists, do you believe in ghosts,poltergiests or demons? If so, why?

I myself seem to believe in them to an extent, but it still seems unrealistic to me.

A few years back, I thought I saw a ghost once, seeing as a lady died in my house. My brother saw the same thing, but as years pass, my belief in them kind of diminishes. Anyway, I am not very religious, so demons seem the most unlikely.

I in spirits and things, if you count those as ghosts then awesome.

Personally I count them as made up tales by people unable to explain the existance of things of a magical nature.

Yes, I believe in both. Haven't seen either however.

I really think that there are things that happen on this planet that can't be explained with science or reason.

And yes, I was one of those people that was genuinly terrified by PAranormal Activity.

I'm inclined to say no, simply as there's no real proof of their existence... but then again, there is one hell of a lot of unexplained shit that happens... so I'm gonna say maybe.

I hav eot say other. A girl did this for her 11th grade final research paper, saying if you believed in angels you had to believe in ghosts.

Now, i dont want to bring religion into this if i can help it. But i dont htink you have to. so I dont believe in ghosts, but do believe in angels. I dont believe in demons (except the hell ones), but do believe in supernatural evil beings. so i'm a bad person to ask cause i'm a walking contradiction, but who cares, its my belief and you can screw yourself if you want to say different.

Honestly, I can in ghosts much easier than angels or demons. Perhaps ghosts don't have to do with religion but rather other causes.

There are PLENTY of things we don't know about the physical universe, not least of which involves the spectrum of light - there's more to it than what we can see.

So I'm conflicted. I believe they exist, but I also think that lots of the stories we might hear of "encounters" are grossly, painfully exaggerated and/or fabricated. The people on "Ghost Hunter" television shows, for example, are completely retarded.

Since that wasn't on the poll, I just said yes.
