Almost always bottles.

Sometimes I'll get cans though, especially for dark beers because they come in cans for some reason (like Guinness) or when I'm poor and want to drink piss to get drunk (you can get a slab of 30 cans for the same price as a case of bottles where I live).

Unless you drink Guinness Original Stout, or Foreign Extra which both come in bottles!
I also drink Guinness the most, so usually cans, and the new Guinness surge has to come in a can, however, being a Brit I also drink Ale and Scrumpy, which always come in Bottles! (And should allways be drunk at room temperature! Never trust cold beer or cyder!

Good beer doesn't come in cans.
Agreed.

I can't think of a single beer that I enjoy that comes in a can. For that matter, I've only ever had one beer in a can my whole life. I was 18, I was peer pressured into drinking, I was young and foolish, and MAN did that beer taste disgusting.

We hardly drink beer anymore. But when we have a get-together, we buy our beer in bottles. Always preferred bottled beer.

i usually go to the pub for Guiness.

its not the same in a can.

it should come in glasses store bought!
They have a Guiness draught bottle now. It comes with a little plastic nitrogen thing in the bottle of beer, since Guiness uses nitrogen in place of co2.

I think bottled beer looks like it'd taste better, but it's expensive as fuckshit where I live, so cans it is.

The beer I drink tends to be

A. More readily available in bottles
2. Cheaper in bottles.

So I buy bottles.

I prefer bottles but I buy whatever currently represents the greatest value for money among the beers that I like.

Usually bottles unless you can only get it in a can, like Guiness or Kilkenny. Estrella Damm comes in wine bottle sizes and they taste awesome.

I find cans give the brew a sharp tasting quality. Canned lemonade is like that too.

Beer - bottle
Cider - Can

That's how I roll. I don't drink beer that often though, I still haven't quite acquired the taste.

I'm one of those infuriating craft-beer hipsters, so it's bottles. Unless I'm broke, in which case I might pick up a six-pack of some canned bilge and regret it.

Bottled beer (so I've been told) is better quality and thats why it costs more.
Sometimes. It's not really a question of containers, it's just that craft beer only comes in bottles, while shit beer comes in both bottles and cans, and craft beer is, by and large, better quality than mainstream. It is, however, much more expensive, both because of availability (craft beer has smaller batch sizes), and because bottles in general are more expensive. Microbreweries have been playing with putting their beer in cans for years because it's cheaper, but they haven't, because cans are associated with shitty beer and they're afraid it'll turn customers off.

This entire rant ought to answer the question, by the way.
