Poll: Do You Change Your Avatar For Different Events (i.e Christmas)

Simple question really, do you change your avatar for different events throughout the year?

For example I have Halloween and Christmas avatars (one of which I recently changed to for the start of December) though they are different, some users have their current avatar altered to events.

Do you change your avatar to suit the time of year? Or do you just not care?

It really depends which site I'm on. I probably won't on here but sites I've been on for years and years, I tend to change for Christmas, even if it's just shopping a Santa hat on my current avatar.

I hate christmas. I don't change my avatars based on holidays. I change them when I get bored of the one I have. I've had this one for some time now though.

I don't think I've ever changed my avatar. Then again I don't really see it that much so it's hard to get bored of.

Sadly no, I really Want to like add Fireworks for New years eve or snow for Winter... (I'd LOVE WINTER SNOW) but I normally forget or don't have time, but this year might be different.

In 5000 posts starting nnnnnnnnoooow, I have never changed my avatar. I don't really plan to. Changing it now would be like Coca-Cola changing the color of their can from red to white/silver.

I do, but I always keep the same theme in my avatars (which is a blonde, anime style girl).

I usually change back to what I had before afterwards though, unless I find one I like more in the meantime.

In fact I was gonna change mine tomorrow, but I might as well do it now!

I used to change for big events. This year, I've only changed it specifically for Halloween.

Yes, when the site allows me to. The last few times I've tried here, I've been avatar-less until I changed back. Won't be going all Christmassy until tomorrow at the earliest, though.

When I say change, I mean I edit the current one. Stick a pumpkin in place of the 'o' for hallowe'en, or add a hat and snow for Christmas (no more fez). It's still fundamentally the same, which leaves me (theoretically) recognisable.

Yep. Thanks for reminding me, actually. Christmas/December merits my favourite anime characters with a crude MS paint santa hat.
