Poll: Do You Change Your Avatar?

I changed mine for the first Escapist Election, and that's it.

Try not to. I was won over by the sheer quality of the Valentine's Day ones, and now it's obviously in remembrance of little Leia, but other than that, it's quite consistent. Luckily anyone who comes along with a yoshi avatar hasn't stuck around, so I'm fairly unique. Oh, and I keep it mostly because it's easy to find when I'm scrolling quickly, but also because I assume it's how people recognize me. It doesn't really represent my personality or anything.

I dont normally change my avatar unless its been about five or six months since my last one. Whenever I feel like a change of scenery is in order, then change up the scenery I do.

I haven't changed mine yet, but I'm not opposed to the idea, I just haven't found anything I like really good. However I do think this red sky thing I have is a bit tame, what with everyone having some sort of face or character.

I think I've been using this Homer piccy for at least a year on various fora. Sometimes I change it if I feel I need to, but mostly I use the same one for extended periods of time. If I didn't, I reckon I'd confuse myself.

I have changed the base picture about 4 times, but once was only for about a week. Although I do normally have my picture enhanced my the Holiday Council, and so it has minor changes on a semi frequent basis...

After Necroswanson suggested the base theme (Hades, the man with the sword) for Halloween I've stuck with it. I tweak it for all The Holiday Council's events though. Because having Fanboy work on it is so much fun.

For some reason whenever I try to change my avatar on this site it gets screwed up. It never shows the new avatar, just the old one, but it shows the new one on Firefox and on the computers at school, which use IE but maybe an earlier version I don't know.

So I never know what's going on and who's seeing what so I always end up with the same avatar.

Whenever I find a cool new pic of Lichhy or any other major lore character.

Usually I go for the plot character of the current expansion (So the next would be Deathwing assumin he is the nightmare in the Emerald Dream)

I've changed my avatar a couple times - this is the 3rd one I've had in my year of time here (not counting special holiday ones)

I'm actually thinking of changing it now... Screw people that can't remember me by name.

I never change my Avatar. This is the only painting I've ever liked and altering it would just mutilate the original. (A shinny gold coin to the first mate who can identify said picture! /British accent).

Oh, man, damned if I can remember the name of it or the artist, but I remember learning about it in art history - didn't the actual painting get destroyed in like, WWII, and now only black & white copies remain?
