Poll: Do you clean your controllers?

So I'm wondering if anyone else shares this need for cleanliness.

Yeah, I do. Every couple of weeks, depending on how much I've been using them.

I'm a bit of a neat freak, so I give my controllers a good cleaning at least once a month, and I usually wipe them down a few times a month just to get rid of food and crap.

If someone else used it, I just wipe it down quickly with my shirt - otherwise it feels kinda sweaty to me (even if it isn't).

I only clean them properly when I notice them getting kinda dirty or dust is building up in the crevices (like under the joysticks).

I only clean off the stuff that tends to build up and I can actually feel it. Or if it's like a big ugly spot I'll scratch it off with my finger nail. My keyboard get's really dirty really fast though so I clean that a lot more often and thoroughly.

Yes, but not often. Maybe just when I really think they do, I'm not cleaning them every day or so.

No. I mean, if there's some dust or dirt on them I'll try to wipe it away with my finger. Does that count?

Only if they're visibly dirty or feel dirty, which isn't often.

Well since the "new" feel controllers have erodes away quickly I normally clean it when ever theres a loading screen on or whenever I notice dust on them.

Sometimes I get gunk on mine and just wipe it off...but now thinking about it, I should give them a good deep cleaning

You can't leave any of Sony's dualshock controllers alone for to long or they acquire dust, that glues to them, and the analog sticks become sticky and seem to have gone scaly and perspire. This has been the same for every example since I started using Sony's products oh so many years ago. It has been lessened to some degree with Dualshock 3 but it's still a looming irritation.

Sometimes when I see a bit of dust or something yes. And anytime someone else uses it, but I don't want other people to touch my stuff anyway, so that's not often.

I clean my mouse all the time and i clean my bf xbox and ps controllers every week

I don't do anything like soap+_water, but if I see a mark, I'll wipe it off.

Yeah I clean my controller and mouse with alcohol.
