Poll: do you consider gaming to be a life style?

Everything can be a lifestyle. People think not eating meat is a lifestyle...so obviously what we do with our entire free time also would fit in those criteria.


You don't need to be a basement-dweller to be into games enough for them to be a lifestyle. It's like how some people do things for fun that are varied...well...people who are gamers as a lifestyle don't. That's all there is. As long as someone is happy with that nobody has any right to say anything.

so i just noticed that link on the front page for the webby awards that says "support gaming as a lifestle", and it got me thinking, can being a gamer really be considered a life style? i think the idea of it is a little strange, personally.

I think lifestyle might be pushing it...but a VERY time-consuming hobby...absolutely.

It is for some (I know it is definitely for me), but it is becoming more of an integral part of everyone's lifestyle.

Yes. If you count talking about games, socialising through online games, keeping up with news on games and the industry, watching videos about games, playing games.
