I'd call myself a nerd. Top of my class, always got my nose in a book.
And I don't use wikipedia as my dictionary
"Hey nerd!"
"Hey dick!"
"Hey someone who has a girlfriend zing!"
It just doesn't work.
You know that.
I just feel this need to be right. It's almost like I pursue "intellectual activities."MaxTheReaper said:That is because you sir, are boring.Stabber1010 said:And I don't use wikipedia as my dictionary.

Honestly I don't really care that much, you can't change the votes and thats where the Information is. Plus it keeps the thred near the top of the list.MaxTheReaper said:Okay, you may be unaware of this, but this is kind of what I do.

And you are quite good at it, too! Makes the threads more fun to read through, in my opinion.MaxTheReaper said:Okay, you may be unaware of this, but this is kind of what I do.

So, I suppose I am a nerd.
if someone thinks that playing halo wars makes you a nerd they should be beaten with the gamefaqs strategy guide of starcraft because hitting them with the game case would be a step up for them.Stabber1010 said:Oh boy, pedantic wars!MaxTheReaper said:That's not a title.Stabber1010 said:Someone who has a girlfriend *zing*

He had said term. Not title.
Term- a word or group of words designating something, esp. in a particular field, as atom Title- in physics, quietism in theology, adze in carpentry, or district leader in politics.
a descriptive or distinctive appellation, esp. one belonging to a person by right of rank, office, attainment, etc.: the title of Lord Mayor.
Now there's a difference between the two. A title you can call someone anywhere, a term can be used to describe them.
*continues to derail thread for the sake of his own nerd-dom*
*begins to wonder if changing this to messages would be better*

Oh and just to be further arrogant, I say that mainstream gaming does not make you a nerd. Neither does halo wars.
