I'm not really sure.

On one hand, I spend long hours sitting around and doing nothing, and yet on the other, I'll manage to do all my college reading while playing World of Warcraft (or in the case of Thursday, waiting for midnight so I can finally play me some Skyrim).

So I guess I'm slightly lazy. Mostly when it comes to cleaning and doing domestic things that bore me to tears.

Yup. Absolutely posolutely. .....Yeah, that's not a word, it it?

The thing is, my laziness is mostly caused by a lack of motivation. If I actually can get motivated for something, it'll get done, and fast.

But playing Sonic Generations, or even surfing the net is waaaaay more enjoyable than some of the obtuse stuff we're tackling in University. And I have a lot of trouble thinking of a future farther off than a couple months. >_>

I'm honestly not that lazy, but I do get off track easily. And not in that ADHD kind of way, where I can't concentrate, but where I'll say "I am now going to do some Physics" and by the end of the hour I am playing with legos.

I don't know if it is so much that I am lazy vs. I really know how to enjoy my free time... and want more of it.

Yeah, but not really in the sense that I have trouble accomplishing things. I just rarely feel like doing productive things.

This is probably an almost universal problem in my generation though, between the Internet and video games there's almost never an absence of something fun to do.

I would too. There hasn't much change in it for the past 5 months now. Even though I've been on the Escapist all day for those past months. >_>

I have my moments, but I'm usually not.

As it is, I've had tons of times where I've done something rather complex and my friends just stared blankly and told me they never would have bothered because it was too much work.

I'm also a perfectionist when it comes to doing a lot of things, so my general approach is if I can't do it right, I won't do it, so when I do something, it tends to be way overly complex.

Very much so. At work in my department it's basically a competition to see who can do the least work while still getting everything done. It's awesome to say the least.

No. Not in the least. I am a deeply unhappy Sam when I don't have something to do/work on/think about/plan. Gaaah. Yet I spend hours and hours playing video games. Joy of joys!

I think I'm best described as somewhere in between. I do try and get things done, but I am also fairly easily distracted. When I set myself to a task, I am usually pretty good as focusing on it when I don't worry about people or other stuff breaking my concentration, but conversely if I'm trying to do something and I just can't seem to get into it, there's not much hope of me getting anything accomplished.

For instance, I'll while away the others playing a video game when I'm supposed to cleaning the house. But even worse, I might start playing a video game, get to the start screen (or somewhere else) and then leave it alone/paused for hours while I talk to friends or watch videos here and at YouTube. :p

Case in point, I started playing Homefront cause a friend lent it to me. I finished the first stage, went back to get some achievementns/practice playing.. and during my second go through the chapter I ended up pausing to look something up online. That was about 4 hours ago, and I'm still sitting here online with the game paused.
