I'm also a perfectionist when it comes to doing a lot of things, so my general approach is if I can't do it right, I won't do it, so when I do something, it tends to be way overly complex.

This is me EXACTLY! I'm a lazy perfectionist: less "if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right" and more "if it's not worth doing right, it's not worth doing at all"

To the average person, absolutely. To me, not really. I just need to be interested in whatever the hell I'm doing. If I'm not, Than I'm goddamn lazy as hell because I just don't have any motivation.
