I usually can choose what I dream about or even change it halfway through if I realize that I'm dreaming first.
But if the dreams are realistic and nothing wacky happens I don't notice anything out of place and I go with the flow. What about you?

Both, but I like them way better when I don't control them. If I accidentally start to, I just make myself wake up, and go back to sleep.

Depends, there's these certain times I know I'm dreaming and I kind of control it and make stuff happen.

Then there's others which I don't have a clue what's going on.

These days I been having these bad " THE RING " style dreams :(
I blame the Scary thread ><

I honestly wish I had lucid dreams more often, but I cannot remember the last time I had one.

Then again, I rarely, if ever. remember any dreams from the previous night.

Yep I'm a lucid dreamer. I can control my actions, dialog and stuff and to some extent the environ around me but if I start trying to completely change the location or other people I tend to wake up.

I usually go with the flow. But sometimes, I just f*cking can't.
There are those times, where I can't go forward with whatever the hell is going to happen next.

i, unfortunately, have never had control over a dream. to me my dreams are like watching a movie about an alternate reality to my life... whilst suffering from amnesia. only once i wake up do i go "oh thats what was going on, and she was... okay." (i have had dreams where i am blind, those are wierd because it feels like my eyes are glued shut and if i ever get them open it causes me to wake up, so blindness ends but so does the dream (i can still hear and feel in those dreams))

I can control my dreams?!?! Man, if I'd known that, I never would've been traumatized by Guitar Hero guitars!

In all seriousness, I don't really know how to control my dreams, so I just go with the flow. If I figure out how to control my dreams, I'll definitely start, because then, I'll have the best dreams any pubescent male can dream about.

I'll 100% Lego Star Wars.

Both, but they tend to just happen. I get more and more control the closer I am to waking up when it starts off as an out of control dream and the controlled ones are constant from the start.

With both types my surroundings start to bleed into the dreams, like the lightening of the sky and I'll be able to hear and remember conversations of other people downstairs. Then later on I can confuse them by relaying events that I wasn't awake for.

Well, both. Sometimes I do lucid dream, but most of the time I am half lucid, it is kinda like directing a movie. When my dream spirals into something I don't like or think is stupid, I rewind and try again, even though I am unaware its a dream. Sometimes I know its a dream, but I am not lucid, knowing it is a dream is part of my dreams sometimes, if that makes any sense. I have been trying to train myself to lucid dream more often, but so far it has only resulted in dreams about lucid dreams.

I rarely ever have dreams.

Like, at all.

What I wouldn't give to be able to manipulate them. :p

Either way it ends with me (EXPLETIVE) in my pants.

edit: In reality I get some where I know I am dreaming, but I cant control it. The worst feeling in the word. Especially when you are getting chased by hairless gorillas.

Dunno, the memory of my dreams always seems to dissapear somewhere around 10 minnutes after i got up, i can only remember them for longer, if i'm half awake for a long time, and then it's only the parts from when i'm half awake.
