Honestly, I rather go with the flow. Dreams are a lot more interesting when you think they're real, I've had some lucid dreams which I got bored with...=/

You guys are awesome!!! How can you control your dreams?!?! I know I cant. I've never could.

Are you sure you're not all lying?
You're not alone. I could never dream lucidly. Heck, I hardly dream in the first place. The most recent dream I had, that I can remember, happened last year.

I usually trust my subconscious to put me in a fun situation which doesn't require me to change anything, but I can if it let's me down. Which is nice to know.

Once I had a nightmare that I was being chased so I tried to make a gun appear in my hand but then the guy who was chasing me yelled "oh no you don't" and teleported to me then killed me.It freaked me out.

that would be cool to control my dreams. when i was little, i was fascinated with the idea that, if i came to realize i was in a dream, that i would then be able to control the dream. for days, i kept telling myself to ask in the dream "is this a dream?". when i finally managed to remember to ask this during a dream, the answer i got was "I don't know". what great help you are, subconsious me >_>

The last time I had the ability to control what I did in a dream I accidentally woke myself up trying to make an authority undermining joke at teacher. So I try to have lucid dreams, but I always knock myself out of them trying to do things.

I can't imagine how happy I'd be if I could control my dreams. Because some real wacky shit happens in my mind at night, though I rarely remember it.

I do remember one time when I was like six, I had a dream where I was in a weird castle thing that involved remote-controlled planes. I was enjoying the dream like normal, and suddenly I started running around asking everybody if I was dreaming or not, they all just looked at me weird and shook their heads.

Don't ask why I remember that so vividly, there's three total dreams that are like that for me.

i've been reading online, and apparently there are some ways to induce lucid dreams over time. i think i might try some of this, just for the fun of it

When I try to control my dreams, they turn into things I'd rather not remember. When I don't they turn into some of the coolest stuff ever imagined.

As I just woke up from a night filled with horrible nightmares, it's safe to say that I cán't control them. Fucking wish I could...I feel awful.

If I control my dreams it's usually unintentional, and I wake up before anything interesting happens.
But I prefer to go with the flow, my dreams are more interesting that way.

I used to, but my imagination seems to die whenever I try lucid dreaming and I wake up with sleep paralysis some of the time.
Better to just go with the flow and enjoy it.

I do both actually. Though I prefer to control my dreams, as for me, they are infinitely more entertaining in this way ^~^!
Oh yes. Wherever I start I just go from there. But darn it, my sub-conscious is not a movie!

I never really remember dreams (spent too much time in Limbo), although with a good architect...
(I can't believe this thread got this far without an Inception reference)
