they're primarily 1st person as far as i can remember them.

i have had a 3rd person moment in a gritty Gears of War-type environment where i was in a warthog turret, and thus i went to 3rd person like i was in a halo game lol, but then there was a boss fight in an enclosed area with a massive boss that reminds me of a Rancor from Star Wars XD
I also remember me and my sisters jetpacking in halo reach. in a region that looked like forge world, but had a totally random-mentally-generated landscape. but it kinda reminded me of the halo 3 map Isolation.

the latest dream was me and my friend, it was in 1st person the whole time that i remember, and there was some cool freerunning going on and we were doing weird good deeds...at least i think we were trying to help people...
i remember leaving a note to someone and it said my friends codename and mine at the end. and when we were fleeing this building we were in, and we heard on the intercom, "Dr. Breezy to the 'somethin-somethin' department xDDDDDD it was funny as sh*t!

dreams are pretty effing awesome. makes me wanna watch Inception again!

i always dream in third person, ever since i was a kid. i cant recall a single dream i have experienced in the first person. my dreams tend to be of the "what if i was injected into this scenario" type only, since it is a dream, i tend to be the idealized version of myself (IE stronger, faster, slimmer, more handsome...)

my favorite dreams are when i die (no, this isnt some emo depressing dream and this sint me calling out for help) because when i die in my dream it is as if i enter "god mode" and i can manipulate the environment or i am a ghost that can effect the things around me or haunt the people i want. sadly (and this is one of the few times you will hear a non-depressed person say this) i dont die often enough in my dreams for my liking; maybe once every year or so

It's usually in first person but I sometimes go to third person for some weird reason.

I dream in 3rd person almost all the time. My dreams are usually like movies, where the camera moves around to wherever it needs to be. Often times I control myself, but I rarely see what's going on from my own perspective. I had a talk about this with someone at work once, and she said she always dreams in the first person, and I found that odd.

Very rarely do I ever have control of someone other then myself if at all, but my mind has ways to get around this basically. My dreams rarely consist of people I actually know well. They're full of aquantances, so that I can imprint how I think they'd behave in whatever situation onto them. I'm guessing this is to create a movie like effect, because my mind doesn't want people to be included wherein I would know their reaction to certain circumstances.

My dreams are also usually pretty uneventful... with fairly average things happening but with one slight exaduration that makes things odd. Occasionally though, I have crazy awesome dreams that would make fantastic actual movies.

Also, I often lucid dream, and therefore can control many things within it often times. I only ever dream after I have woken up and then gone back to bed. It's more fun this way anyway lol.

I usually dream in first person, except when I die (which switches to third person showing my body on the ground) or in some cases when I drive... I watch myself pull up in a truck occasionally. Mostly it is first person, though.

Can I get an "It's complicated" vote? I dream in first, second, AND third.

I had to vote first-person, even thought it's not always the case.

And to whoever said they don't dream; you're lying. You dream, you just don't remember.
Not true, I was on Ambien a while and didn't dream on it. Also when drunk, you don't dream.

And psychopaths don't dream I have read.

I always thought I was weird for the third person dreaming, yey I'm not!!

Those are usually my nightmares and their either like a movie or a video game and they are repetitive, I watch something in third person and then I'm in it and I know exactly whats going to happen and I can't change it.

Then there are the sexy time dreams, those are first person though.

Both. At the same time.

OT: First person. If I dream in third person, it's for a very short period of time posing as an interlude between First person gazes.

A bit of both for me. It's probably not as strange when you think about it, but i can feel the things happening to me even in 3rd person.

Always first person, it might have something to do with the fact I'm a lucid dreamer.

Mostly first person, although I do have vague recollections of third person dreams or even stranger perspectives, like being two people at once.

First person 99.9% of the time. I had a brief spell of WoW related dreams which were inevitably third person.
hilarious and embarrassing, my girlfriend told me that i had been talking in my sleep, i had apparently seemed in distress and fearing i was having a nightmare she tried to wake me. She later told me that i had explained to her with quite some urgency how important it was for me to get the epic dagger... Even in my dreams i was after the purpz...
